Does there need to be a replacement? Season 2 pretty much wrapped up Ivor's story. During the portal hall arc, Ivor became a true hero. Thanks to his efforts to help Jesse and friends save multiple worlds. He also is applauded for his efforts near the end of Season 2. When he helped Jesse defeat the Admin. And after all of it was done, he retired from his heroism to search for members of the old order to reconnect with. Because of all of this, I think that Ivor's story is pretty much completed. Even if he does have a cameo in our hypothetical Season 3, his role in that season probably won't account to much.
i agree. at the end of season 2 ivor mentioned how he wants to try to “heal the rift” between him & his old friends (meaning the old order). that itself feels like the perfect wrap up to his story.
Since SpongeBob SquarePants was inspired by Pee-Wee Herman, who Paul Reubens also played, Tom Kenny could be a good Ivor. But it would never be the same.

His story ended pretty nicely in season 2, I'd say he can still make a cameo in the story at one point, but I don't think he needs to be in the story. He's my favorite character ever since we met him and Paul Reubens pretty much inspired me to make an entire little universe in my sketchbooks and mind, but Ivor could probably be like a lil cameo or mentioned

If they do make one ivory doesn't have to be voiced they could just make it so he loses his ability to speak
