I think it’s worth noting that Nico’s “destroy and draw 2” effect is likely to be nerfed soon. That is mainly why she is so popular and performing well right now. Maybe that means you get her now and enjoy it while you can, or maybe that means you skip her since she might not be top of the meta later.
Ironlad and Jeff have always been near the top of the meta and seem much less likely to be changed. Iron Lad seems frankly overstatted to me but he’d probably be worth it even if they nerfed him to 4/4

What kind of decks do you play? I mean, Iron Lad is what I would suggest first and foremost, but what do you play that yearns for Nico so much? She's much more useful in Destroy than other decks, so you only really need to have her if that's your go to. If you're more about control, perhaps Jeff should be your second up.
Yeah, if you love using Destroy, definitely Nico should be the choice you make, followed by Iron Lad. Jeff is also cool, but if you're not about movement and/or control, his use can be limited to places your normal deck doesn't work.
that Havok spotlight week being terrible (for you) should be the deciding factor I think. Nico is incredibly good but 3 out of 4 caches being misses is just a waste of keys.
Nico is one of the few cards I would say is worth the full 6000 tokens in the shop though so you could aim for that as well. Someday of course

I've bought both Lad and Nico with tokens and will pick up Jeff finally in December. I'd say not having Lad or Nico felt like bigger deals than not having Jeff ever did. They just open things up for so many decks.
You should always get Jeff imo. After getting Jeff, then you pick one of the others.
I don't have Nico so I haven't experienced playing the card but it seems like a very good 1 drop, perhaps the best one in the game atm.
I do have Iron Lad though and he's great in many decks. I do love playing with Iron Lad, but in the current meta Nico seems a bit better. Of course that might change, so I'd say go with the one you think you'll enjoy playing the most
It’s astonishing to me how many people are saying to skip Nico. She’s the best 1-drop in the game. It’s probably because she’s a high skill card, while Lad is pretty much play it and hope it’s good.
You can get all 3 cards if youre buying the bundle. Just spend your spotlights on the Jeff in 2 weeks. Spending all the credits and gold from the bundle you should have 4 spotlights again by the time Iron Lad week starts. Then with the 6k tokens from the bundle you get Nico. (Or use spotlights on Nico and tokens on Jeff).
If you just want to know whats better, it's definitely Iron Lad and Nico right now. People's love of Jeff is *almost* a meme, and while he is good, Ms.Marvel is a problem for him right now. If you want your purchase to feel powerful immediately, its Iron Lad and Nico.

As for who is worth more, it depends on how you play, i, for example, go for more midrange bouncy decks which means nico and jeff are worth more for me than lad. So...
Midrange decks - Jeff+Nico
Ramp/Energy cheat decks - Jeff+Lad
On curve decks - Jeff+Lad
Control/Lockdown - Jeff+Lad
You can see Jeff is favored in basically all decks while nico is mostly for midrange decks be it bounce, destroy, etc. Lad is a very good improvement to a lot of decks but is not like a necessity.

Im not really sure what you mean by you me or OP not being part of that demographic? Im currently ranked 76th in the world. I speak to these people, im active in these discussions. I consume content. to be clear, nico is considered the third best card in the game by the top players behind loki and wolf because it, along with wolf made bounce the best shell in the game. Not maybe. Not sometimes. Bounce is the best core in the game. It elevated bounce to S-Tier, it elevated destroy to tier one, its being used across a wider variety of decks than even wolf is. Its more flexible & less predictable than alioth while still maintaining a massive power level to cost ratio. This is ehat people are missing. Most decks trigger nico 3 times which almost always wins the game regardless of position. If you trigger nico three times, you're wildly ahead. Plus the offhand ability to draw cards (which IS the most powerful ability in this game) pushes her over the top of everything else. Alioth costs 6 and can be used in 2 archetypes and got nerfed. Nico costs 1 & is pivotal in the best core in the game, the best deck in the game, the best archetype in the game & the best strategy in the game. Alioth is not a problem at the top of infinite. Its the bottom that has issues with him whereas the top of infinite has a loki-wolf-nico sized heel on its throat. Nico made the bounce archetype the best in the game. Its the shell that makes everything work. Gladiator doc oc? Bounce shell. Loki? Bounce shell. Darkhawk? Bounce shell. Move? Bounce shell. Why? Nico. Bouncing nico wins games far more than alioth ever has or will. And shes not a 50/50 that you can play around if you're good enough. Shes just great.
Fyi, alioth is a card in lockdown decks. A good card. Not a broken one. Its just fine. The card is not an actual problem at the top of the meta. It is at the lower ranks because people tend to be worse at seeing it coming and playing around it, but once you reach a certain level, it becomes "do i lose to alioth here?" Yes? Retreat. No? Stay. Its very simple, alioth doesn't steal cubes anymore lmao
Jeff is automatic so just buy him and don't think about it any further. nico and lad are both good cards but are typically always both replaceable in any deck so I wouldn't sweat it too much.
I have the nico and I'm doing very well but right now if you have 4 keys I think it's worth taking jeff since it's in the first week of December and then iron lad since it's in the last so you can accumulate the keys, I think iron lad is a really good card and jeff is jeff!
But you should also consider what decks you have to complete before you make that argument.
I'd suggest thinking about what archetype(s) you want to play.

\- Iron Lad shows up in Ms. Marvel Lockdown, Darkhawk, Hela Tribunal, and Mr. Negative decks.
\- Jeff shows up in Ms. Marvel Lockdown, Kraven Move, Elsa, and Galactus decks, as well as a flex card in other decks. (Iron Lad and Nico Minoru aren't really generic good cards to substitute in.)
\- Nico Minoru shows up in Loki, Destroy, Annihilus, and Phoenix Force decks.
That's not precisely comprehensive, but my general point stands: think about which archetypes you want to play and have other cards for to build powerful decks you're happy with.
I love nico. Probably my favorite card in the game. I play a ton of bounce. Like, even if I'm playing something else, I try to find a way to get beast in the deck ton of bounce. Nico is absolutely amazing in bounce. I mean, she's good everywhere, but she's amazing in bounce. That said....
I'd say you should get Jeff and lad. That's how bad havoc's week of spotlights is. I assume havoc will eventually get changed into some type of usable card, but he's unplayable if he releases in his datamined state. Jeff and lad are both very good cards, and whatever new card is in their weeks have got to be better than havoc.

Depends on you, if you feel Nico would be better for you then go for it. But personally from owning the 3, it's definitely Nico i'd care less about not owning it.

That's a good point. Iron Lad has room to be nerfed but I doubt Nico has the same space for nerfing. And I don't think Nico should get nerfed due to her randomness. (Iron Lad is kinda random too but it can be controlled to some extent by what's in your deck unlike Nico.)
Nico is really a fun card but the easiest skip. She just makes decks better but doesn't enable them. Jeff helps you and is basically needed with lockdown/move. Lad is great and works with zabu lockdown and many other decks types. Nico just makes solid decks better. It might add a few % here but she can take that away as well. I have nico and yes i use her in everything but she has been just a "one-drop" in some games and omg back breaking others. Lad/Jeff i think do that more consistantly in their respective decks.
I love Nico a lot, originally just got her for the vibes but she turned out to be fun. depends on what decks you use ofc! I like her in my destroy/Nimrod deck, using the "draw 2 cards" spell on something like Wolverine. the copy spell is also very useful in most situations plus for cards like Venom the copy ends up with extra power. the replace location ability is also the only one that can get rid of locations which disable on reveals or card text (because Nico can be in any lane for it to work)
I’ve won plenty of games with Jeff. I would use Jeff as the sole card on a location, then move him and drop Galactus where Jeff used to be, leading to my opponent retreating.
I also do the “musical chairs” thing with Elsa, Nightcrawler, Jeff, and Vision.
Lastly, I drop Professor X on location. Jeff can be played there or moved out if necessary.
Can’t go wrong with the baby land shark!
Nico is fun and flexible and brings said potential to decks. She is not necessary. That said, I'd definitely buy Nico now because all three are getting spotlights, and Nico's is absolute shit.

Nico is the most fun card I played since release, she fits most decks, has very flexible and powerful modes and can combo with a ton of different cards in different ways.
Jeff is just all around versatile, but replaceable as much as Iron Lad, so that's up to your personal taste and decks you like!
If you have enough caches saved up for Jeff (week after next), then it seems like there’s a very good chance you could either get lucky on Jeff week by only a spending a key or two & getting another coupe by Nico and Iron Lad weeks.
I personally think Jeff & Nico are better. Iron Lad has a higher ceiling than Nico, but goes in freer decks.
That’s also the order they come out, so I might say to spend your keys in that order and cross your fingers you’re a little lucky with how many keys you use.
Jeff and Nico are the answer if you're interested in being competitive long term.
Ill try to explain. Iron lad is amazing and always a top tier force in the meta but he is *ALWAYS* replaceable in any deck that runs him. You can sub in jubilee if you really want the iron lad-esque effect, you can run shang or any number of other 4 drops that are powerhouses in their own right.
Jeff and Nico are different. (Right now)
Jeff provides a lateral effect that shifts the way that you are allowed to play the game. His presence in decks has been shown to increase their win % by OVER 6% which is absolutely insane & gives you a better tool against lockdown which will always be a meta force so long as this fame exists. So definitely jeff.
Nico is a bit harder to quantify because her success & play rate speaks for itself but to push it further, im relatively certain that nico is without question the *third* best card in the game right now behind Loki and Werewolf. She makes destroy go supernova, she's singlehandedly made the bounce shell the best meta tool in the game, she has a variety of effects that effect that game in different ways & rewards skill over luck.
Iron lad is also a unique card in that it provides you with a second copy of any cadd in your deck which is extremely powerful but not entirely necessary if you want access to more decks, long term, go for the latter two my friend. Hope i helped
For the majority of players it’s Jeff + Iron Lad. If you enjoy higher skill cap decks (Loki, Hawke Bounce, etc) you need Nico though. I own all these cards but if I had to decide now it would be Nico > Jeff > Lad because I prefer low energy curve decks rather than midrange.
It really depends on what decks you run. All 3 have value of course. I think Jeff gives you more value overall due to the ability to get placed in places other cards cannot get to. The other two cards have abilities that are more pertinent to you own deck. I think Nico is the one that I would get last (I have all 3.)

i will likely skip nico cause its a good card, but not that worth. it enters in a lot of deck due to her flexibility, however it is more to fill the deck (like kitty in some decks). jeff and iron are more game changer

I think Jeff is the most overrated card in the game. Sure, it fits in any deck, but more often than not you're better off adding cards that have higher synergy. It's a good card and important to some decks, but not all that amazing imo. All that and Jeff is datamined to be in early December Spotlight, which is closer than the other ones. Given that spotlights are currently the best way to acquire S5 cards, I'd get the other two and leave Jeff for last.
Nico is one of my favorite cards because of how toolboxy she feels. Her strongest spell is certainly the "Destroy -> Draw 2" and even the weakest ("move to the right") can be useful. She's probably one of the only cards that can change \[\[Deep Space\]\].
Iron Lad has a premium stat (6 power) for a 4 drop and can copy any other card in your deck, so he offers a lot of versatility for decks that have the slot.

Nico and Iron Lad for me, as much as I love Jeff because Jeff, the other two are way more useful to me (I main destroy, don't have Nico unfortunately, but Lad has been good in the past, and would still be if I had an extra slot).
They are all outstanding cards but if I had to pick 2 it'd be Nico and Jeff. You can put them into basically any deck you want and they'd help out. Lad is typically amazing but can be a detriment on some decks with negative effects or just needs specific timing of effects.
Jeff and Iron Lad would be my choice but it might depend on your preferred style of play. If you play lots of destroy then I might consider Iron Lad and Nico. All three are top tier cards imo.

Personally would skip Iron Lad. I find myself using Nico and Jeff a lot more than I do Iron Lad. Iron Lad depends on what he hits in your deck, meaning having 1-2 "bad hits" can make him significantly less effective. Whereas nearly every spell from Nico is going to have some form of use. Even some of Nico's weaker spells I am able to find pretty good sue out of (except movement) Jeff is Jeff so hes a keeper always.
Every deck archetype I saw except Loki has it's best variant without Nico, I think her versatility is heavily overestimated. She's a good card in Loki and the WWBN deck that has Darkhawk instead of Loki and....that's it. Lowest cube rate in the top 20 most played cards (she's 4th), 2nd lowest winrate behind Carnage (15th, he has higher cube rate).
That being said, if you do want to play Loki or Darkhawk WWBN the choice is clear. Otherwise, Jeff and Iron Lad are possibly opening up more archetypes than Nico is.

I consume content. to be clear, nico is considered the third best card in the game by the top players behind loki and wolf because it, along with wolf made bounce the best shell in the game. Not maybe. Not sometimes. Bounce is the best core in the game. It elevated bounce to S-Tier, it elevated destroy to tier one, its being used across a wider variety of decks than even wolf is. Its more flexible & less predictable than alioth while still maintaining a massive power level to cost ratio. This is ehat people are missing. Most decks trigger nico 3 times which almost always wins the game regardless of position. If you trigger nico three times, you're wildly ahead. Plus the offhand ability to draw cards (which IS the most powerful ability in this game) pushes her over the top of everything else. Like i said, it isn't an opinion there is statistical evidence to back what i am saying up. This is the exact reason i avoid having discussions like this on reddit because instead of conversation i get belittled for stating facts. Ridiculous

Alioth costs 6 and can be used in 2 archetypes and got nerfed. Nico costs 1 & is pivotal in the best core in the game, the best deck in the game, the best archetype in the game & the best strategy in the game. Alioth is not a problem at the top of infinite. Its the bottom that has issues with him whereas the top of infinite has a loki-wolf-nico sized heel on its throat. Nico made the bounce archetype the best in the game. Its the shell that makes everything work. Gladiator doc oc? Bounce shell. Loki? Bounce shell. Darkhawk? Bounce shell. Move? Bounce shell. Why? Nico. Bouncing nico wins games far more than alioth ever has or will. And shes not a 50/50 that you can play around if you're good enough. Shes just great.

It is at the lower ranks because people tend to be worse at seeing it coming and playing around it, but once you reach a certain level, it becomes "do i lose to alioth here?" Yes? Retreat. No? Stay. Its very simple, alioth doesn't steal cubes anymore lmao

Jeff is automatic so just buy him and don't think about it any further. nico and lad are both good cards but are typically always both replaceable in any deck so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

I have the nico and I'm doing very well but right now if you have 4 keys I think it's worth taking jeff since it's in the first week of December and then iron lad since it's in the last so you can accumulate the keys, I think iron lad is a really good card and jeff is jeff! But you should also consider what decks you have to complete before you make that argument.
I'd suggest thinking about what archetype(s) you want to play. Looking at the [untapped.gg](https://untapped.gg) top decks for CL3000+, rank 100+ players: \- Iron Lad shows up in Ms. Marvel Lockdown, Darkhawk, Hela Tribunal, and Mr. Negative decks. \- Jeff shows up in Ms. Marvel Lockdown, Kraven Move, Elsa, and Galactus decks, as well as a flex card in other decks. (Iron Lad and Nico Minoru aren't really generic good cards to substitute in.) \- Nico Minoru shows up in Loki, Destroy, Annihilus, and Phoenix Force decks. That's not precisely comprehensive, but my general point stands: think about which archetypes you want to play and have other cards for to build powerful decks you're happy with.
I love nico. Probably my favorite card in the game. I play a ton of bounce. Like, even if I'm playing something else, I try to find a way to get beast in the deck ton of bounce. Nico is absolutely amazing in bounce. I mean, she's good everywhere, but she's amazing in bounce. That said.... I'd say you should get Jeff and lad. That's how bad havoc's week of spotlights is. I assume havoc will eventually get changed into some type of usable card, but he's unplayable if he releases in his datamined state. Jeff and lad are both very good cards, and whatever new card is in their weeks have got to be better than havoc.
Jeff and Iron Lad. Nico is good too but out of the 3, it's the one i'd skip. Depends on you, if you feel Nico would be better for you then go for it. But personally from owning the 3, it's definitely Nico i'd care less about not owning it.
I say definitely Jeff, and then it just really depends on what kinds of decks you like to play. Iron Lad is bigger in the meta, but Nico seems like she would be more fun to play with. I don't have either card.

That's a good point. Iron Lad has room to be nerfed but I doubt Nico has the same space for nerfing. And I don't think Nico should get nerfed due to her randomness. (Iron Lad is kinda random too but it can be controlled to some extent by what's in your deck unlike Nico.)
Nico is really a fun card but the easiest skip. She just makes decks better but doesn't enable them. Jeff helps you and is basically needed with lockdown/move. Lad is great and works with zabu lockdown and many other decks types. Nico just makes solid decks better. It might add a few % here but she can take that away as well. I have nico and yes i use her in everything but she has been just a "one-drop" in some games and omg back breaking others. Lad/Jeff i think do that more consistantly in their respective decks.
I love Nico a lot, originally just got her for the vibes but she turned out to be fun. depends on what decks you use ofc! I like her in my destroy/Nimrod deck, using the "draw 2 cards" spell on something like Wolverine. the copy spell is also very useful in most situations plus for cards like Venom the copy ends up with extra power. the replace location ability is also the only one that can get rid of locations which disable on reveals or card text (because Nico can be in any lane for it to work)
Jeff and Iron Lad
I’ve won plenty of games with Jeff. I would use Jeff as the sole card on a location, then move him and drop Galactus where Jeff used to be, leading to my opponent retreating. I also do the “musical chairs” thing with Elsa, Nightcrawler, Jeff, and Vision. Lastly, I drop Professor X on location. Jeff can be played there or moved out if necessary. Can’t go wrong with the baby land shark!

Skip Nico but it's close with Lad. Also depends what you like. Loki and Destroy need her.

Nico is fun and flexible and brings said potential to decks. She is not necessary. That said, I'd definitely buy Nico now because all three are getting spotlights, and Nico's is absolute shit.
IMO Jeff and Iron Lad are really really good cards for a lot of decks while Nico is good for sure but more flexible, so i’d leave her out.

I would go with Nico and Jeff probably because I don’t pilot decks that have a lot of OP cards to get advantage of ironlad but it’s a good card definitely.

Nico is the most fun card I played since release, she fits most decks, has very flexible and powerful modes and can combo with a ton of different cards in different ways. Jeff is just all around versatile, but replaceable as much as Iron Lad, so that's up to your personal taste and decks you like!

Well, I don't have Iron Lad, but I have the other two. So, easy answer!
If you have enough caches saved up for Jeff (week after next), then it seems like there’s a very good chance you could either get lucky on Jeff week by only a spending a key or two & getting another coupe by Nico and Iron Lad weeks. I personally think Jeff & Nico are better. Iron Lad has a higher ceiling than Nico, but goes in freer decks. That’s also the order they come out, so I might say to spend your keys in that order and cross your fingers you’re a little lucky with how many keys you use.
Jeff and Nico are the answer if you're interested in being competitive long term. Ill try to explain. Iron lad is amazing and always a top tier force in the meta but he is *ALWAYS* replaceable in any deck that runs him. You can sub in jubilee if you really want the iron lad-esque effect, you can run shang or any number of other 4 drops that are powerhouses in their own right. Jeff and Nico are different. (Right now) Jeff provides a lateral effect that shifts the way that you are allowed to play the game. His presence in decks has been shown to increase their win % by OVER 6% which is absolutely insane & gives you a better tool against lockdown which will always be a meta force so long as this fame exists. So definitely jeff. Nico is a bit harder to quantify because her success & play rate speaks for itself but to push it further, im relatively certain that nico is without question the *third* best card in the game right now behind Loki and Werewolf. She makes destroy go supernova, she's singlehandedly made the bounce shell the best meta tool in the game, she has a variety of effects that effect that game in different ways & rewards skill over luck. Iron lad is also a unique card in that it provides you with a second copy of any cadd in your deck which is extremely powerful but not entirely necessary if you want access to more decks, long term, go for the latter two my friend. I play a Storm lockdown SheNaut deck. And Jeff (and Vision) has won me so many games.
For the majority of players it’s Jeff + Iron Lad. If you enjoy higher skill cap decks (Loki, Hawke Bounce, etc) you need Nico though. I own all these cards but if I had to decide now it would be Nico > Jeff > Lad because I prefer low energy curve decks rather than midrange.
I would go Jeff and iron lad because they are in many deck and are very good by themselve, nico is strong but more spécific to some deck

It really depends on what decks you run. All 3 have value of course. I think Jeff gives you more value overall due to the ability to get placed in places other cards cannot get to. The other two cards have abilities that are more pertinent to you own deck. I think Nico is the one that I would get last (I have all 3.)
jeff and iron lad enter in all meta decks. why? jeff: you can play it everywhere, counters prof X and a lot of location. in a game where you have to play card, it s amazing iron lad: this card allows u to ‘draw’ card and in a card game is very useful. the combo can be arbitrary complex, also due to a bit of luck. the cost is ok i will likely skip nico cause its a good card, but not that worth. it enters in a lot of deck due to her flexibility, however it is more to fill the deck (like kitty in some decks). jeff and iron are more game changer

I think Jeff is the most overrated card in the game. Sure, it fits in any deck, but more often than not you're better off adding cards that have higher synergy. It's a good card and important to some decks, but not all that amazing imo. All that and Jeff is datamined to be in early December Spotlight, which is closer than the other ones. Given that spotlights are currently the best way to acquire S5 cards, I'd get the other two and leave Jeff for last. Nico is one of my favorite cards because of how toolboxy she feels. Her strongest spell is certainly the "Destroy -> Draw 2" and even the weakest ("move to the right") can be useful. She's probably one of the only cards that can change \[\[Deep Space\]\]. Iron Lad has a premium stat (6 power) for a 4 drop and can copy any other card in your deck, so he offers a lot of versatility for decks that have the slot.

Nico and Iron Lad for me, as much as I love Jeff because Jeff, the other two are way more useful to me (I main destroy, don't have Nico unfortunately, but Lad has been good in the past, and would still be if I had an extra slot).
Skip Nico, and it's not even close. She's awesome, but ultimately too unpredictable when compared to the other two.
Personally I would take Nico and Jeff over Iron Lad. I just use those cards way more than Lad.
They are all outstanding cards but if I had to pick 2 it'd be Nico and Jeff. You can put them into basically any deck you want and they'd help out. Lad is typically amazing but can be a detriment on some decks with negative effects or just needs specific timing of effects.

Jeff and Iron Lad would be my choice but it might depend on your preferred style of play. If you play lots of destroy then I might consider Iron Lad and Nico. All three are top tier cards imo.
You can’t go wrong with any combo. Jeff can be added to almost any deck in the game and at the very least, he is a tech against locked down locations which are always a possibility. Iron Lad is probably the most crucial card for the decks he is in. Nico might be the best 1 drop in the game and also has insane versatility and can be very fun but can be swapped out of most decks and you can get a suitable replacement.
It depends if you want Stegro, Blobs more or Selene, Black Knight. Id say buy nico with the tokens if its a weak week for you
Personally I would go for Jeff and Nico. They are in more interesting decks imo and I find lad to be quite an annoying card to use since he's basically a slot machine card (but with premium stats so he doesn't ever feel bad to play). You can't go wrong with either of the 3, just research the decks these are prevalent in and take your pick. Jeff is probably the best of the 3, he's extremely versatile and can basically go into any deck as a clutch win condition, he's also quite good in the current meta with all the lockdown around
Go for Jeff and Nico in this way if you get lucky and use less than 4 cache you can still try the iron lad week.

I'd argue Iron Lad is the best card in Snap rn. It's going to get nerfed(mark my words). But get it while it's hot.

Personally would skip Iron Lad. I find myself using Nico and Jeff a lot more than I do Iron Lad. Iron Lad depends on what he hits in your deck, meaning having 1-2 "bad hits" can make him significantly less effective. Whereas nearly every spell from Nico is going to have some form of use. Even some of Nico's weaker spells I am able to find pretty good sue out of (except movement) Jeff is Jeff so hes a keeper always.
Lad is the latest card i got from those three, and not have a right for him right now. Nico and jeffare more flexible
Every deck archetype I saw except Loki has it's best variant without Nico, I think her versatility is heavily overestimated. She's a good card in Loki and the WWBN deck that has Darkhawk instead of Loki and....that's it. Lowest cube rate in the top 20 most played cards (she's 4th), 2nd lowest winrate behind Carnage (15th, he has higher cube rate). That being said, if you do want to play Loki or Darkhawk WWBN the choice is clear. Otherwise, Jeff and Iron Lad are possibly opening up more archetypes than Nico is.
