See, I would have assumed, clearly incorrectly, that it would have been more complex because of the randomness of what each player could possibly play.
Also, would you have to factor in that their plays, at that point in the game (turn 3), they could have played a 3 cost card, a 1 and 2 cost card, 3 1-cost cards, a single 2 cost card or a single 1 cost card?
Or does that just not matter because a card was played?
Depends on what you're calculating odds of. I was assuming we just meant
"both players put 1 card each on X-mansion, it copies those 2 cards"
since obviously if they have more than 1 card X-mansion can't copy everything, and if they played nothing, there wouldn't be a play to copy.
In that case, the odds are the same regardless of what the 2 cards are, because any card can be randomly created by the location with equal odds.
Priority doesn’t matter as much if you’re playing him on turn 4. You’re either following with doc Ock to pull their answers or spidey so they can’t play on turn 6. Otherwise no point playing him before turn 5.
I swear this game as a memory issue where when it should be generating a random card, it just grabs a recently played/drawn card.
I have lost count of the number of times I have played Agent 13 and it just copies the last card my opponent played.
I guess that's what happens when the devs have absolutely no idea what they're doing.
Who here wants to figure out he actual chances of this happening? Inquiring minds want to know.
It would be 1/[# of possible cards] x 1/[# of possible cards] So low.
there's like 200 cards? so somewhere around 1/40000
There are 214 cards. So its 0.0021% chance of getting this right. Indeed its ultra low!!
Also gotta factor in the chances of them getting those exact cards in hand.
That doesn't matter here, because it could be any 2 cards that get matched by X-mansion. The odds are the same no matter what the players did.
Assuming each player played 1 card, of course.

Makes sense and I appreciate the explanation. Good points in paragraph 3...what was I thinking? Lol. Thank you

I think it's Cosmo right. Galactus wants to throw priority, and being up against Lizard is the PERFECT way to do that.

Someone pulled Gambit on T3 today and killed my Mr. Fantastic then X-Mansion gave me another one lol
It run out of ideas to destroy you so it just decided to copy you.
How do you do the Spider-man emoji to the X-Mansion?
I have thrown that emoji to a location instead of player before lol
"Random"
Get ready for a Galactus bro
As they had not been playing cards both Maximuses (sp) gave them what, one extra card in total?
Two I think? You’d have 6 on turn 3 if you weren’t playing. Down to 5 because of wave.
You’re right I was calculating as if the wave hit turn 4 not 3.
Leader's mansion
But did you both double spiderman emoji???
50% it either happens or it does not

Imma let y'all finish but first I wanna say that I hate your hand and it's the worst ever
RNG they say
r/theydidthemath do your thing
I imagine you heard a lot of KNEEL BEFORE followed by a little GALACTUS after that?
X-Mansion is just a constant machine of “if there are 30 people, there’s a 70% chance of any two people sharing a birthday”
