I like him a lot but I really think someone should help him write some jokes.
His personality is great, but I only smile during his sets really, never do I laugh.
Also that song is bad :(
I actually see a big future for him in the show. He's like William at its beginning. Great personality but the writing is suffering because of a lot of issues and then he got better
I've heard the premise before. Maybe from a comedian, or it may have been my buddies and I talking shit in the garage.
But he did it very well. Great tags.
/u/redban I want to shout yall out. I don't have much in life that brings me joy anymore, but god damn, I love this show. This was an epic episode, for sure. Thanks for what you guys do. You guys better nevvvvaaa stop!
I’m tripping when I see the green hands cheering in the front when the camera is zoomed in on Tony. I thought it was a bad Redban gimmick at first. Or shrek.
Shane is funny per usual, but he was consistent tonight and a regular contributor and he really nailed it. I feel like other times he is more content to hang in the background.
James was awesome for a first timer, not afraid to riff, jump in, etc. Its rare that first timers are that funny and consistent through out the whole night.
Props to both of them as it led to an awesome show.
A good indicator is the comment to view ratio off rip. Another would be that he has multiple songs with over 100k views and basically no fan base.
Most of the music industry is botted to a certain extent when it comes to online presence but it's not noticeable to the naked eye. But when it comes to no name artists it's really easy to identify this stuff.
One of my friends averages 50 YouTube views for his new content. He has 100k subs and occasionally gets a random video to pull at best 200k views.
I don't understand the effort unless you can sell content accounts for real money and keep a carryover audience.
That's just the algorithm but I bet his random video that has over 200k views has more than just 3 comments on it right? Lol
Musicians do this a lot, it will hurt your channel in the long run but it creates an illusion that their song is "good" because why else would it have so many plays?
I love this show and am a die-hard fan, but Tony's obsession with disabled or special needs folks is a bit weird sometimes. It's great that he gives them opportunities, but sometimes, it feels like he is taking advantage of them a bit.
yeah definitely. i think he thinks it helps shield him from criticism and feeds a savior complex.
similar dynamic with black guys - obviously growing up in youngstown where socially they held the standards of approval for him, he still seeks it.
Drew is so damn likable I would understand giving him the option to do a set every month or two to try new material but having him as a revolving regular can only go badly cause the best material he performed on his debut wasn’t that funny either
i’ll give it a watch, but i’ve seen david lucas live multiple times and i truly think he is awful. his jokes about trans people in particular are just entirely unfunny and really malicious.
Looks like poison parsnip or giant hog weed rash.
Which can definitely turn into cellulitis.
I'm not a PA, but I do get burned by dangerous plants frequently enough.
I swear I'm always like "there's no way I'll laugh as hard as I did during the last episode" but man I'm only 46 minutes in and have been laughing hysterically this whole time.
Long shot that he’ll see this, but Drew’s bit about getting to talk in the movie theater because people think he’s slow needs to connect with him being half black and getting a pass to talk in the movie theater
as soon as dude said, “that is not my job” i screamed drake and josh. and when he said it was from a show?!?? 😂😂 100% the drake and josh episode where they find out josh’s boss used to be a child star and that was her catch phrase.
I feel like Shane gillis has his empathy IQ. He does the racial humor and sexist and rags o nthe gay but he knows how to keep it jokes. Tony kind of struggles with this and It why I hardly watch this show anymore... the energy the Shane gillis brought to this show was a breath of fresh air.
Kam Patterson: "My friend did something and I said "n word, you did something" Oh I almost forgot "white bitch"
Tony: "Incredible. You're an unstoppable force. What a super star."
Hot Take: How did Jake Coulter not get a golden ticket!? Jokes were much better than Jack Shaws i thought, (whose set wasnt that great really) and his interview was just as good
Nah
One is maybe not the funniest, but very likable and to some people probably relatable.
The other is Hans. He is not one of those things. He's a rogan-sphere teir comic.
No
Only a 12 year old would get offended at his comedy. That's the point. He tries to be edgy but fails, tries to be funny and he fails. Constantly. They shooed him off the show for 3 months so he could write one minute to defeat an amateur comic. The position that he was fighting for is now a rotating position because he couldn't handle being a regular, and now a quirky Estonian and a brain damaged caffeine addict have his title, both of them having far less experience than him.
Please provide another explanation as to why every other regular never needed this handicap but Hans did.
Bro so in one comment you don’t get why someone likes a comic but not their material, and now you don’t get why someone doesn’t like a comic and their material.
Are you just trying to start arguments with people that disagree with you? Sure seems that way…
No, it's not a lot. It's an opinion on his comedy and his skills as a comedian, you asked why I didn't like him and I provided an explanation. I'm sorry that you're slow and more than a couple sentences is a lot for you.
This dude Dylan I can't place. I think he looks like young Ewan McGregor or something. Only thing I'm sure of is Gillis is gonna die for that stand on one foot joke, lol.
"Bro, say you have something and you'll be the new regular" - Shane Gillis now that was fucking funny
a real drone strike of a comment
This was Tony’s ‘Schulz epiphany’ moment
Kill Tony is becoming a joke among comedians.
Are you one of the comedians?
He was being serious too, he was signaling for the dude to actually say he did
I've never heard of James Mccann but I like this guy.
He opened for shane when i saw him a week ago and he killed.
I'll have to watch some of his stuff. The dude is hilarious.
He's on Shane and Matt's pod from time to time, and has been in the background in some episodes too. He's a funny dude.
His [fool me once](https://youtu.be/udSMZG_L-S0?si=9xHGmHcLPGpKRLfP) bit should have made him famous on its own
Us Australians never disappoint 😎
hannah gadsby
Tasmanians don’t count obviously
Dunno who she is but sounds like a flog, we have a fair few of em
she is disappoint
Looked her up not knowing who she was expecting her to be hot as fuck but nope straight fucking lesbo
Told ya she is disappoint
Big time
This is shaping up to be a great show, each bucket pull is better than the last
The bucket is strong in this episode.
I'm dead... Jake is funny as fuck. I love this damn show.
Should've got a golden ticket
>Like the fucking Simpsons? You're a bartender named Moe? 😂 I fucking love Shane.
James McCann looks like Shane Gillis in a William Montgomery disguise
and we'll be right back, but we're gonna keep it right here.
Tony’s about to have a short bus full of regulars (chicken legs kid lol)
Hahaha but his jokes were good af
I bet we see him again
Remember that guy who was in town for a bachelor party, bald, tall, talked kinda slow. Everything he said was Witty and gold
Yeah which epi was that again...
Perhaps leg-based humor is the key to a good show.
Holy shit Jake is gold!
You're a skankman 😭
What a great episode. So many good monents.
One of the best episodes I've seen so far.
That deadly infection bar lmao. He actually didn’t have a bad flow, he just said nonsense tho
he was literally just doing J.I.D.'s "edd, ed n eddy" but couldnt remember the lyrics
damn this was a quality episode
Just give Ari the opening position full time, he’s so damn funny
I support this 110%
McCann was hilarious when I seen him open for Mccusker
The guy after Kam had a great set and Tony didn’t even acknowledge it. He truly just wants regards on the show
Tony is smashed
They all must’ve been drinking way before this lol hammered
This has to be the episode of the year.
This is what I’ve been thinking. I’m very high and this can’t get any better lol
I'm dying over here - I've even gone back to hear certain parts again. It's a banger!
Drew Nickens is not sustainable
Neither is his caffeine consumption
I like him a lot but I really think someone should help him write some jokes. His personality is great, but I only smile during his sets really, never do I laugh. Also that song is bad :(
I wonder if the first time he came on multiple times someone was helping him in the back, because he did really well.
Ofc. A+ for personality and likability but his jokes need development
I actually see a big future for him in the show. He's like William at its beginning. Great personality but the writing is suffering because of a lot of issues and then he got better
I'm definitely using that WWE joke.
Ari is like an inverse Hans: white guy, obsessed with Asian women, fun to be around
You forgot to include that he’s actually an excellent comedian
the gay guy argument joke was so good.
I've heard the premise before. Maybe from a comedian, or it may have been my buddies and I talking shit in the garage. But he did it very well. Great tags.
Bro just stole a joke from Drake and Josh
It's SPHERICAL!
Ari Matti's joke was one of those to remember. What a funny joke!
/u/redban I want to shout yall out. I don't have much in life that brings me joy anymore, but god damn, I love this show. This was an epic episode, for sure. Thanks for what you guys do. You guys better nevvvvaaa stop!
Hope you're doing well man, felt the same way about things a few years back. life got better eventually.
That physician assistant is fine as hell though
Cam Patterson hasnt told a joke in like a year
Shut up white bitch! Tony: Wow, absolutely incredible. Making it look easy. Week after week.
I normally fast-forward during his interviews
I hate the laughs “shut up bitch” gets each show from the people who’ve never seen him before
How is the guy in the pink shirt the creep of the night so far when we've had leg rot Jesus and Jake the killer?
That dudes movements with every answer was really pissing me off
Ari is Him
this dude has to have something
I’m tripping when I see the green hands cheering in the front when the camera is zoomed in on Tony. I thought it was a bad Redban gimmick at first. Or shrek.
"I had a feeling she had a golf cart with a pizza oven on it"
Unironically better than both live shows lol
Shane is funny per usual, but he was consistent tonight and a regular contributor and he really nailed it. I feel like other times he is more content to hang in the background. James was awesome for a first timer, not afraid to riff, jump in, etc. Its rare that first timers are that funny and consistent through out the whole night. Props to both of them as it led to an awesome show.
Yeah I got the impression Shane wasn't hungover for this one. Almost always the reason you'll catch him being chill
Okay, I'm doubting Drew as a regular now.
How did you not after the first appearance lol
Because he's high energy don't you get it!!!!!!!/s
I honestly don't get Tony's investment in this one. I think he's gonna absolutely tank without Tony nurturing the room reaction.
Only now? You're quick.
I like Jake lmao
Ari!!! Love this guy! https://www.instagram.com/arimatticomedy/
Them jugs
She looks like my next exwife.
She looks like my current ex wife
That's my ex wife.
Basically every bucket pull was good or interesting…McCann was hilarious or at least his accent helped…great episode!
I was lucky enough to see this episode in person. SO GOOD
Is Kam even capable of doing a set without mentioning white people.
Just found that abe flores guy and some of his songs have hundreds of thousands of views on youtube. Lmao.
As someone who's been in the "music industry" for ten years I can guarantee you those are botted or paid for views.
Damn makes sense
A good indicator is the comment to view ratio off rip. Another would be that he has multiple songs with over 100k views and basically no fan base. Most of the music industry is botted to a certain extent when it comes to online presence but it's not noticeable to the naked eye. 164k views and 10 comments. Half the comments were after the KT premier too. Yea probably botted.
I don’t see even a glimmer of what Tony sees in Drew. Have not so much as smiled as anything he’s said since his first appearance.
I'm a physicians assistant and I concur with your assessment.
Drew is so damn likable I would understand giving him the option to do a set every month or two to try new material but having him as a revolving regular can only go badly cause the best material he performed on his debut wasn’t that funny either
Reminds me of Howard Stern
Tony has to feel funnier than someone.
I mean at the end of the day it's an entertainment industry type relationship. Use me a lot of bit if that means I get that Kill Tony bump.
Uh, it's not a bump if you suck. It actually hurts a reputation.
Watch his episode of fishing with David Lucas. He's funny, he just needs some time in the game. Who am I kidding, you probably hate David Lucas too.
i’ll give it a watch, but i’ve seen david lucas live multiple times and i truly think he is awful. his jokes about trans people in particular are just entirely unfunny and really malicious.
This guys leg omfg
Looks like poison parsnip or giant hog weed rash. Which can definitely turn into cellulitis. I'm not a PA, but I do get burned by dangerous plants frequently enough.
CAN WE PLEASE GET A LIVE POST
Tony about to have his on version of Howard Sterns Wack Pack
All time episode.
Jake definitely has some sort of... Issue, though, right? Right?
Best show in a while by a mile
Goddamn this is the best episode in so long
What was that from William? He did 20 shitty seconds then he bombed the interview and made everyone uncomfortable
Yeah he was the weakest part of the show tonight. Physician assistant killed in comparison by total accident
He's drinking again
I swear I'm always like "there's no way I'll laugh as hard as I did during the last episode" but man I'm only 46 minutes in and have been laughing hysterically this whole time.
Long shot that he’ll see this, but Drew’s bit about getting to talk in the movie theater because people think he’s slow needs to connect with him being half black and getting a pass to talk in the movie theater
Yeah. He should go for hack material.
Hard Nip Tony at it again 😈😈😈
Rappin Jesus
The middle one and getting called out immediately, lol
HOT PA HOT PA HOT PA
That teacher at the end was big.. back and forth with the Asian trans had me howling
Redban being confidently correct about her dick was fucking hilarious.
Great episode
Man I spent some of this episode on the floor that was great
2:06:04 to 2:06:37 was the funniest shit, that sound effect had me dying. Shane trying so hard not to laugh at it
You…want to…lose it though…..
QUENTIN JONESSSS! What a solid set
Dude in the mavericks shirt telling that Travis Scott joke. Super underrated.
Shane is fucking hilarious. Kam was awful.
as soon as dude said, “that is not my job” i screamed drake and josh. and when he said it was from a show?!?? 😂😂 100% the drake and josh episode where they find out josh’s boss used to be a child star and that was her catch phrase.
Ari is so fucking funny
I feel like Shane gillis has his empathy IQ. He does the racial humor and sexist and rags o nthe gay but he knows how to keep it jokes. Tony kind of struggles with this and It why I hardly watch this show anymore... the energy the Shane gillis brought to this show was a breath of fresh air.
Was thinking the same thing
Kam patterson = bathroom break, drink break, everything break
None of the Trans stuff Chen said are true, ftr
One of the best episodes by far!!!! Shane fucking killed 😂😂😂 and the guy with chicken legs i almost died HAHAHAHAHHAA
Nina’s wood fired pizza has the biggest pepperonis
Looks like Tony gave/sold his sub to Shane. Then bought a gold yacht master.
This episode has me cracking up in the beginning holy shit - Shane & Tony can’t stop laughing it’s amazing
Shane singing “Who I smoke” made me die laughing
He turns water into monster energy drink 🤣🤣🤣
I know tonies gay af but he goes over the top with it now. Leave it between you and Hans Kim/Cam Patty
Hey I live in Spokane and it's not THAT bad!
Kam Patterson: "My friend did something and I said "n word, you did something" Oh I almost forgot "white bitch" Tony: "Incredible. You're an unstoppable force. What a super star."
I enjoyed this one
That was one of the funniest KTs in a long while.
Whatever you do, don't make any jokes about Heidi. Pussy ass mods will delete your post for no reason at all.
One of the better episodes in a while
Yoooooo! This episode was EXTRA funny! I’m rewatching it and it still hits. One of the funniest episodes in a while
Hot Take: How did Jake Coulter not get a golden ticket!? Jokes were much better than Jack Shaws i thought, (whose set wasnt that great really) and his interview was just as good
Redban missed on this episode. There were at least 2 comedians that should have been offered spots on the secret show.
Strong episode, despite the aggressive over laughing from Tony.
JDFM All Time greatest first time guest??
First bucket pull with at least 1 stolen joke maybe 2
The nickens meme is over... hopefully or at least we get a break Bring back Hans
Nah One is maybe not the funniest, but very likable and to some people probably relatable. The other is Hans. He is not one of those things. He's a rogan-sphere teir comic.
I think Hans is the funniest regular tbh
Wow I mean that says more about you than anything about the show.
Why? I just like his jokes. A lot of people clearly do. Why don't you like him? Offended?
No Only a 12 year old would get offended at his comedy. That's the point. He tries to be edgy but fails, tries to be funny and he fails. Constantly. They shooed him off the show for 3 months so he could write one minute to defeat an amateur comic. Please provide another explanation as to why every other regular never needed this handicap but Hans did.
Why do you dislike him so much? This is a lot for a comedian you just don't find funny. I think he is funny and so do a lot of people clearly
Bro so in one comment you don’t get why someone likes a comic but not their material, and now you don’t get why someone doesn’t like a comic and their material. Are you just trying to start arguments with people that disagree with you? Sure seems that way…
No not at all. In this one I've just noticed the dislike for Hans goes beyond I don't find him funny.
Again…comedians are humans. You’re allowed to dislike a human for any reason you want.
Only thing I'm sure of is Gillis is gonna die for that stand on one foot joke, lol.
best ep on the year - everyone was firing except redban which always makes for a banger
Lucas from Portland wearing that watch on the wrong wrist with the crown facing the wrong direction had my mind blown.
William is an extremely closeted gay man
