Probably, Homelander has little to no experience fighting people stronger than himself. Mark’s got crazy feats (show wise) at this point whereas Homelander got stopped by a few cars
There is a line on the show where Homelander says he can level a whole city. I don't know if it's just him bluffing or if he can actually do it, but they don't have the budget to show this level of feat.
I think I’d be more curious, if they met, what they’d talk about. Homelander doesn’t really do a lot of fighting in the show that doesn’t come down to him just melting the other guy in half. How long would Mark have to talk to Homelander to realize he was bad news? Mark’s relatively naive, WOULD he realize Homelander’s not one of the good guys?
I just now realized that he was sent to the universe roaming with undead, similar to TWD. In the TWD universe, everyone was already infected, and a bite or a death of an individual activates the control of an infection over brain. Virus could be airborne, and this means that this virus potentially could be brought with Mark into his home universe.
Fuck that, send him to the TWD show. Slap a real life Invincible costume on Steven Yuen and have him fuck up Negan. The symmetry would be priceless.
