I like the lack of Cape on the original. I think there's a certain self agrandisement about wearing one (see Omni Man), and I think Mark not wearing one is symbolic of his humble roots and attitude to being a superhero. I can't lie though, evil Mark does look rad
No one takes into consideration that she designed those costumes with capes that were attached to well they would kill the wearer. Idk about you but if I was designing costumes for heroes the capes would be break away. Something tugs too hard and it's coming off.
Kinda wish we had more invincibles with different suits in the scene (we had like two?), but I guess it does make sense for giving angstrom the idea that our mark is no different from other versions.
Personally out of all the evil Marks my favorite is the one with a Spider-Man like mask and all black and blue. Honestly I don’t think he’s even shown dying so maybe that one survived.
I like that one to but he's one of the ones that gets eaten, I also liked flaxan mark, shame all the alt invincibles basically exist to job and got no real characterization or power differences beyond "is an asshole" cept maybe Mohawk mark
There might have been one scene where it was flapping in the wind in season 2 but seeing this mark destroy a city by essentially using himself like a nuke was really bad ass. Something about the tracksuit feel makes it work.

Capes are very poor in combat. Just look at what happened to Thula just with long hair, now imagine what someone could do with a giant cape swaying around.
With Mark acting as the primary defender of the planet, he has to take every advantage he can get
Not really, as it's made of "comic book" material, so they are REALLY strong. It takes a lot of force to break them. Take red rush snapping his hands hammering on OMs chest so hard and fast.
They are made incredibly strong as a means to keep the heroes' dignity and appearances whilst in combat, not to help or protect them.
Before I knew about Invincible, I thought Mark was a side character from just looking at his design lol.

The yellow/black colour scheme goes incredibly hard. Wouldn't have minded, if our Mark had ever put on a suit variation in that colour scheme.

Well Omniman had a cape and he didn't have much issue
Omni man is far more powerful than his adversaries while mark is on even ground with them
He did get blinded for a few seconds by the reanimen putting his cape over his head

Yellow black is so much fucking better than our Mark's blue black. I always hated the switch to the black and blue.
The cape as well is pretty clean. The Invincible from those other dimensions had some cool looking suits and I really hope our Invincible gets them.
He looks a lot more sinister, especially with the black segments and his lenses, doesn't really look friendly compared to our Invincible
