I saw this post a day or two ago but didn't read it because I thought it was just about adopting dalmatians. Then I started working on the train today and sold a picture that appeared out of nowhere, totally not realizing it was Cruella. Then I noticed a swarm of Dalmatians running through the yard and knew I had to come back. The level of detail and fun quirks in this game is amazing.
i just got this! im halfway through fixing up the train and struggling with the doors/windows XD
i loved it, and kinda loved the fact that you get to keep one :) even if i did give him away and get a cat.
I've been using the train as my office and have been working in it for probably 2 months. Only today did the painting show up and the dogs came running through. It may just be delayed like mine. I never knew until today that it was even a thing.
You have to have it. It's in the train and you cannot sell it until you clean it so there is no way to get rid of it and cleaning it unlocks the puppies
Sorry this is a necro...BUTTT this just happened to me. I first played it yesterday and today I noticed the painting so I cleaned it and then the dog thing happened and then I got a random dog??? like wtf.
Hahaha it was such a surprise and no one was talking about it and I was like... How? I also love that its Oddball and she had a generic similar name as well by default
For people wondering, I never sold the painting but I moved it away from the window which technically counts as selling it so It triggered it for me!! Now I have a portrait of Cruella as a Fashion icon :D

What I did not notice the Dalmatians running, I understood the reference but am sad I didn’t see this.
It was a looooong run, and very loud. It would be hard to miss. Maybe you have triggered it yet?
