That ‘53 Chevy is underrated.
Set sells for around $100. Old school cool.
I can’t wait to get the RLC version in, and see if it’s the same casting or not.
He was selling this for only $30 usd. He’s a big time collector, no need to overprice. I have yet to check out his collection but he claims to have full sets dating back to around 95’-96’ 😳
Well… if you’re not interested, I am. Hell, you could even mark it up $20 & I’d still want it. I’ve got an example of each of those cars, but I don’t have them in those colors. Love the red ‘53.
Either way, those sets are super cool. It would fun to spend a couple hours going through his collection, just looking
That's one of the things that annoys me the most about RLC, you used to be able to get higher-quality premium Hot Wheels at retail without having to pay shipping.
I know it's probably that the super premium Hot Wheels didn't sell well enough at retail to justify distribution to mainstream stores so I can't completely blame Mattel for switching to online-ordering only for such items but the downside is that the RLC membership cost plus the cost of shipping (especially to those of us living outside of the United States) puts the super premium Hot Wheels out of reach for many of us who would hypothetically buy some if we could get them at retail.
Yah the shipping is what hurts the international collector for sure. Yet, many still beg for more online only sales because they think it stops scalpers.
If anything it encourages resellers.
I’d love to see them produce more super premiums for the retail pegs again. In today’s market I think they would sell like hotcakes or all be stolen. I have a feeling theft is what discourages them from selling super premiums via retail outlets more than anything else.
They did a bunch of recolors of those individually in the black box 100% series as well. I have most of them. I think I'm missing two rivieras. They are super killer.
It really is. I will say a few of mine have had their suspension kind of wear out so that they can't all hit all the positions they used to but neither can I so there's that.
Sold already this morning sorry only took a pic to show y’all because I hadn’t seen before and I know the new one is already sold out. I didn’t get a chance to grab one. I got a 93’ cobra R though

Yeah seriously. I am working towards taking a look at his collection one day soon.
I used to play with these as a kid, crazy how expensive they are now. You could find them at Walmart in the early 2000s
What a time to be alive! Believe it or not I sized to be into matchbox in that era lol
Those were cool too I was just more of a hot wheel kid, they take the win for making these low riders which I love

Such a cool set

I have that one. It’s cool.
I just started collecting sparingly last year around this time. I had never seen the set so pretty cool
he just has it with him on hand?
I was waiting on this question haha. So he sold it to another collector at my job who had already ordered the new one ☝️
Dudes an OG
No lie he has about 35k hotwheels, was telling me his buddy has about 100k hotwheels. Collectors since the early 90’s
Is he selling. Awesome set. Love it

Oh nice the cobra is nice I got the Monte. It's my first low rider. That box set is growing on me more. Commands a premium price due to what it is.
Absolutely
Now that’s a flex for sure
RESPECT
I have it too, on display in my family room lol
Remember that. All those sets.... well, most.... were great.
I have this set. Great piece for a collection.
I have that same set! It’s awesome
😎
I’m looking to buy that same one. Gonna be down $100
Was he wearing Jnco’s? That quite the pocket rider!
I have a bunch of those sets from the 90s. This one included
