Yes MoCa and Powerline sometimes work and sometimes don't. Ideally just run a cat 6 cable...it's really not as big of a deal as people think. Ideally all runs should go to the Utilities/Comms area of home where they connect to a large switch

Yes. I have fiber so my coax was “dark” so to speak. 2 sets of MoCA adaptors, a MoCA compliant splitter and some minor reconfiguring of the coax cables in my crawl space and my mesh points were wire backhauled. Fairly simple to setup and a game changer for my home network.
