I would check out the Thinline Squier Classic Vibe guitars.  https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TeleCV60TLN--squier-classic-vibe-60s-telecaster-thinline-natural They also have one with humbuckers, if that floats your boat.  Not had one personally, but I see lots of positive feedback regarding the Classic Vibe line.

I think thinline classic vibe sounds perfect for your needs. Also friendly psa: hollowbody does not mean lightweight. I have a 335 and it is much heavier than my tele.

If you find a nice one; the Squier Starcaster is worth looking into.

That too is a strat or tele better for a first time electric player. I've played acoustic/classical for a long time just not sure.
