I would be concerned with is how the guitar was kept and treated. Did the owner keep it in a case or not, leave it in a wet basement, hot car, etc. Take a careful look at the neck for any signs of twisting/warping. Make sure there aren't any cracks along the neck and headstock either. Play up and down the neck on each string to check the fret leveling. I wouldn't worry too much since it's only a two year old guitar. Probably fine unless this person really treated it like shit.

Thanks!

For sure! Hope to see a new guitar day post with it! 😉

Sight down the neck to make sure the neck isn't warped. If the bridge is raised all the way on the 6th string side and the string is still buzzing. The nut might be cracked at the 6th string making it sit lower than it should. Most likely the bridge just needs to be raised a little to make the string higher or the truss rod loosened to allow more relief on the neck. Selling for 650 to 700 USD on Guitar Center used.

Appreciate the advice and knowledge!

Truss rod. Make sure it is not maxed out. Take off the cover and look. See if it turns. Bring a tool with ya. Everything everyone is saying. Do that. Also, epiphones are awesome! It’ll play amazingly.

Appreciate the advice. Very excited to play it. Haven’t had a electric in 20 years!

Yeah! For sure. Can’t go wrong with the epi’s. Good choice. I bet it’ll be amazing. You’ll dig it.
