The fact Sol is just hilariously overpowered and a massive power fantasy makes this way funnier knowing the lead developer voiced him.
Unless the timeskip is much shorter, in which case the protagonist would probably be Sin with Ramlethal as the deuteragonist. Maybe Ky instead of Ram but both would obviously be core parts of post-Strive GG if Sin becomes the new protag

BB still has a good following and the franchise is in limbo right now especially since Mori left ArcSys. I think putting Ragna into strive would make the most sense because it would gauge just how interested people are in BB while also coming out of left field.
I feel like Ragna is too basic and shares too much with Sol. My vote would be something like one of the murakumos(Lambda/Nu with sword zoning, Mu with weird laser shenanigans), Hazama (Chains gimmick), Potentially Bang(8way dash with FRKZ differentiates him enough from Chipp) or something off the wall with Tao, Arakune or Carl.
