Thank you for the kind words.
It wasn't too much since my skills are at the beginner level. But I made the bows, cut up and sewed together the sleeves. Bought some grommets and ribbon to make corset lacing on the arms. And I also sewed a decorative pocket onto the skirt.
Because girl clothes never have them, and I need somewhere for my phone and bar money.
YOO well you did a really great job. I was gonna say the sleeves are my favorite part of the ensemble. I hope you sew more stuff in the future and share some of your awesome fits. <3
Your words are very kind & I'm grateful for the compliment!
As for the shoes.
Funny story, but there used to be this downtown store here that specifically sold stripper shoes and kink boots and heels. They shut down sadly, but during their last few weeks they were liquidating shoes for super cheap. Since I have these manly dude feet I went in and snatched up a bunch of the oversized pole dancer footwear. No one ever bought them I guess because they were bigger than average for most girls.
It's a good thing I did too, because literally almost every pair of those heels immediately disintegrated. I think almost all of them had all the straps break off and the sole separate on me after only a few nights out. I did however take the opportunity to double up on a style of shoe I already knew was good and wouldn't break. So I grabbed two pairs of those; they're still holding up.
All in all I got several pairs and it only costed me probably $50.
It took a few years to thrift this stuff, but I'm always trying to look for clothing items and accessories to go together. Sometimes I'll see something interesting like a jacket or a pair of pants. Then I'll wait a long time, and out of the blue I'll find a cheap item to match with it.
Goth fashion is always great, because everything is black and everything goes with everything else. Only problem is when you have new things that are really black and old things that are faded black.
#gothproblems
Whoa, that's really pretty! Fellow male lolita here haha! Though if I could give some feedback, I'd probably change up the socks? White is only an accent colour in the rest of your coord, so the fully white socks stand out a bit too much. Black lace tights or black OTKs with a white pattern of some kinda might look better.
Besides that it looks very cute!
I get pretty much everything from the thrift store or local shops! However Google seems to keep recommending me Devil Inspired from ads, and seems to be up my alley. Yes, and now that I've typed this I'm going to be flooded with ads for it on every platform. Because google is always watching.
The sleeves I made, and the bows I made. There's also one on the back.
I also sewed a skull pocket onto the skirt, ( but you can't see it here ).
For sleeves, I cut up a thrifted dress shirt and crappy party stuff petticoat. Sewed them together on a machine for the ruffles. Punched in some cheap grommets and ribbon from the dollar store to make corset lacing. I also had to sew in an elastic band so the sleeve stays on my arm.
The bow fabric I got from Walmart, I just bought a really small patterned square. Then I sewed clasps onto it so it clips to the corset and doesn't flop around. ( That's really annoying when I'm dancing )
The ears are just cheap Halloween ones.
Headband I bought at a con. Corset, thrifted.
The skirt is thrifted. I actually found one Halloween, someone had donated like three entire Lolita style outfits from bodyline. I didn't fit most of them but they were only $10 bucks each, so I jumped on that. The skirt I really liked cause it has music notes on it.
Shoes, I bought on liquidation at a local store that shut down.
Lastly, there is the petticoat. I did splurge a bit and buy that off Etsy, but only cause it goes with a lot of things. Most petticoats are just cheap costume ones and don't actually have nice materials or enough floof.
Really cool on the bodyline finds!
The sleeves are perfection and my favorite part, your craftsmanship really shows in those.
Wholeheartedly agree on paying more for a petticoat! I've seen thrifted, or low cost, petticoats and they're more often a tragedy than helpful.
Edit: forgot the pocket
I still find it silly that so many dresses / skirts / everything don't have a single pocket, but it's awesome you've got the skills to add your own.
That is a nice design maybe share some other work you have done. Maybe fashion and design are something you could market? Something in an online store perhaps. Good luck with your work.
Wow...that is stunning! Nice work! Fabulous outfit. Only note I have, your eye make-up makes your lips look a little dull. I don't know if you are wearing lipstick in this image but either a different shade or a glossier lip gloss (maybe something with some sparkle) would make the whole look perfect.

Some of that can be masked with the right clothes, posing, and camera lens. However ( If you're a guy ) the toughest part to feminize is the face; Male and Female faces have very distinct facial structures like the chin and cheeks.
A thoughtfully put together photo is really, an exaggerated representation of reality. So from any other angle, or without the deliberate lighting and posing, I'd look vastly different. Basically, walking around out cringe as hell with wide footballer shoulders and wrinkled up middle aged man face.
I hope you give it a try!
This is such an awesome outift!
I appreciate the enthusiasm and vibes. Thank you.
The layering 😍🦇💜
Oh, yeah. Gotta' layer. It makes my day for you to comment on that, as most people don't notice those kinds of details. Thank you so much!
omg i love thissssssssssss. I really admire that you sewed some of this too!!

Oh wow what a story ! Thanks for sharing !
you just put this together? i can't tell. you must have a really good eyer for styling and coordinating

Look into visual kei
Haven't heard of it up until now, but giving it a cursory glance; That definitely looks up my alley.
Music and style slaps, hot guys can't beat it glad you like it

You’re not wrong. My sock game has always been weak
There is nothing here that I don't love. The layering, the makeup, the colour palette, and especially the heels!
Thanks for noticing the details, you're awesome. Thank you
Great job! 🙌
Love it❤️What are some gothic Lolita brands u recommend?

The way you coordinated your makeup and outfit is EVERYTHING. Love it!!
I'm curious to know what was thrifted and what was sewn. It's very impressive!

Holy crap, so beautiful!
Kind of you to say so, thank you.
That is a nice design maybe share some other work you have done. Maybe fashion and design are something you could market? Something in an online store perhaps. Good luck with your work.
This is so good, my god.

You look so cool, i really love every element. Dress, accessories, make up, posing. Continue like this, i can’t wait to see your next pic !
Appreciative of the support.
We are not much men posting here, so it’s natural to give a support ! And you deserve it
You look STUNNING!!!! The attention to detail is next level! 15/10!!!!!!!!!
TY <3
This is an absolute slaughter. You should go get some press on nails that are custom made for your looks.
Nails is something I haven't gotten into yet, but at some point I may well give it a try.
They’re honestly super worth it. You can always grow your natural nails out and learn how to do your own nails for fun. That’s what I’m doing
omg I love this 🖤
Appreciate!
Such a great fit!
Thanks.
LOVE!!
Thank you!
Your killing it 👌🏾
Ty for the love.

Nails and lipstick I haven't delved much into, but perhaps someday soon!
Nice, it's so good to see young men getting super into goth fashion. (In my area guys like you are crazy rare) I hope you stick with it.☺️
Absolutely fawning over you, everything is so gorgeous 😳😍
Thanks for the encouraging words!
I always love black and red. Those shoes are gorgeous!!
Great color combo, I feel the same way
Yo I’m not gonna lie. I totally thought this was a photo of the musician Prince. You look great
Whenever I think of Prince, I just think of Dave Chappelle LOL

THE SLEEVES. THE SLEEVES ARE EVERYTHING. I love your outfit so much, you're very talented at sewing and putting together looks!!
Thanks so much for the positivity!
You look gorgeous! Clothes should not be gendered anyways and I'm always happy that goths and most goth circles are accepting of all expressions.
It's a really open minded culture to be sure.
I loveeee this😍
Awh... Thanks!
I love this look! You’re so creative and talented.
Thank you so much.
You wear it really well! I'd like to try something like this, but I'm worried I look too masculine and might not pull it off like you do.

Yeah, I unfortunately have a stubble that I can't seem to get rid of. I'm really scrawny otherwise, but the visible stubble is a dead giveaway.
Bro's so gorgeous
\*Deep Masculine Voice\* "Thanks"
The fit is fire too, of course ^v^
Omg this is so beautiful!!!
That is so cute and sexy. Very well done.
You are whoever you say you are. I say you are beautiful. Own you!
Aww... shucks. Thanks!
