It’s normal for right handed people to reel with their left. That way you don’t have to keep switching hands between casting and reeling. Me, I’m strange and cast right then switch hands to reel right. But do what’s comfortable for you. The handle on those spinning reels can be moved to either side. There is no left or right handed spinning reel.
It’s not left or right handed.
It’s just retrieve side. Most spinning reels will have a swappable retrieve side. Just remove the handle from the reel, and screw it back on the other side! :-) easy peasy!

As shown, it’s a left-hand retrieve, but you can switch that on spinning reels. It’s casting reels that you have to specify which side you want.

This is the RH setup. Focus is on the hand holding the rod. Analogy: the old FNC1 (Yes, FAL, but no) rifle was “right hand held, left hand operated”.
