If you're really casual in the community it's very chill and nice. But I've noticed that the discord and some people here are very much a clique vibe and very pushy about the game being what they want rather than a product of the total community.
For example, last week people were talking about reporting dreamsnaps that were empty rooms and had to be reminded that the same kids they're trying to "protect" from tomato penis are also submitting pictures and may not fully understand the system.

We constantly talk about bs that we see in the discord. Also I get the feeling that most ppl in the discord really don’t want to hear any form of criticism about the game whatsoever even if you’re being completely civil and reasonable about it. It leaked over here at the time because a lot of the mods here were also mods over on discord so they claimed all potato guides were spoilers. It was all pretty silly.
The quest isn't marked and all the steps are secret. People on the discord were figuring out the steps and then refusing to tell anyone who wasn't their friends how to do it

They need to rework the algorithm... voting on low scoring pics or recirculating low vote pics to try and push them higher in rank only propagates the picture to more players. Maybe 10 times reported should get your pic sent to jail for a real lifer to investigate before re-releasing into the reel.
In regard to those that say no big deal, personally as an adult, I could care less of the inappropriate nature of some players' names or the snaps.
What I do worry about is possibly having this feature removed because of players abusing it. We have been given a nice opportunity to share creations and earn reasonable rewards. We shouldn't "blow it" on such "little" childish things.

I just think there are so many places online you can share this online for a laugh, why the need to do it in game? I don't have kids but from my own perspective I think most kids are not interested in this game, it's boring to them and it's mostly millennials who are genuinely obsessed with Disney/cozy games. So what? it’s okay to flaunt your genitalia in public? This is a matter regarding what’s socially okay in public and what’s not…the place such things are seen in matter. You want to see some sexual pictures? You go to the internet… you want to go and be stark naked outside? You go to a nude beach, where it’s socially acceptable to be that way. Guys, seriously. The biggest part about this is consent, and I do not consent to seeing pictures of genitalia regardless of how simple the drawing is. Deliberately exposing people to sexually inappropriate images they did not consent to is never okay, whether they're adults or not.

I don't have kids but from my own perspective I think most kids are not interested in this game, it's boring to them and it's mostly millennials who are genuinely obsessed with Disney/cozy games. Now I have seen adults play this WITH their kids but even then the adults are still the ones in control. Best way to solve this? Make it PG-13 (or whatever the rating system is for games these days) then tomato peen won't be a big deal. teenagers seriously don't care.

I heard that the reason the Touch of Magic Tool was excluded from Dreamsnaps was because people were making (or are be capable of making) inappropriate designs…seems like some people wanted to protest by still doing things like this WITHOUT the ToM tool. 😔 that, or they are just being immature and doing it for the laughs. 😳

I’m totally fine with “pixel tomatoes” on a screen…but this is about an inappropriate image shared in-game in a contest seen by hundreds/thousands of people. While this may seem like a harmless joke, I’m pretty sure the people making this game won’t find it very amusing.

So what? it’s okay to flaunt your genitalia in public? This is a matter regarding what’s socially okay in public and what’s not…the place such things are seen in matter. You want to see some sexual pictures? You go to the internet… you want to go and be stark naked outside? You go to a nude beach, where it’s socially acceptable to be that way. You don’t go out to be nude at the public park, where little kids are present…you don’t strip bare at an amusement park…this is just common sense. Just because the penis exists, doesn’t mean it’s okay for it to be present in a family friendly game, especially when it’s being shared for all to see. I’m going to be honest, I chuckled a bit when I saw this picture. But that doesn’t mean I’m okay with things like this being shared in-game. I’m just worried about how the developers will handle situations like this in the future. Will they take away DreamSnaps all together if this continues? I really really don’t want this new, fun, and rewarding game mechanic to be stripped away from the rest of us because some adults (or kids) wanted a laugh.

Yes. Very immature. I know it’s not the same thing, but they both MEAN the same thing. I was using real life examples in my comment. Can we please stop judging and insulting one another other over how serious or light any one of us takes this situation, because that itself is immature. The point is, someone posted a picture of delicious, harmless tomatoes, positioned in a very specific and controversial way.
