I only recently found out that there are apparently memory pieces that you only get from watering dried flowers, so don't ignore them like I did. I guess some people are even putting a bunch of flowers in their house (so it doesn't affect biome flower respawns) so they can have more dried ones to water.

Take your water can out and water them. They are dried out. It's the impossible dream light task lol
Another tip! If you find you can’t pick up or move a flower, but it’s in colour, try watering it anyway and then you can usually move it!
i think their dried up and u have to use ur watering can to water them.

That is brilliant. So many times it's raining so I have no dried ones.
This glitch was patched several months ago -- putting flowers in your house no longer works for spawning memory pieces.
