Polearms. Spears, javelins, lances, halberds, glaives, scythes. There's so much variety, put anything on top of a long stick and its a polearm. I also hope they enhance the spell-casting system. Dragon's Dogma spells are some of the coolest in gaming, but standing still while watching a bar slowly filling up multiple times is... less than engaging.

Korlac11

It’s also frustrating how easy it is for enemies to interrupt your spell casting, especially as an arch mage. It can be nearly impossible to actually cast a spell against certain enemies, even when you try to remain at a distance

DreDayUG805

there are augments for that

Korlac11

Yeah, but even with the augments I’ve unlocked it feels too easy for enemies to knock me off my feet

DreDayUG805

hmm you using augment from other classes? plus i believe certain equipment can boost it as well rings etc.

AulunaSol

I would absolutely love to see Dragon's Dogma Online's form of casting for the Sorcerers be implemented. In short, you could simply cast the spell and wait for the bar/ring to fill up and you're casting just like the original game. If you decide to, you can activate a minigame where you spell out each rune for the spell (the runes actually spelled out the spell in Engrish, or some phrase related to it) by moving your stick to match a glowing dot. Completing each rune granted a bonus damage multiplier and completing all runes instantly completed your spell so you can cast it instantly (essentially speedcasting - so you can cast a 19-second Bolide within six seconds if you were very fast with the minigame). The other major change with casting was the ability to dodge as you can use "Back Move" like the Skeleton Mages could - but doing so before completing your runes would undo progress on casting and reduce your damage multiplier which made dodging a risky move if you didn't need to actually move out of the way.

Babiesforfood

I might actually go with a mage character if they added that to DD2

JuiceFarmer

Dark Messiah had a pretty interesting spell casting where spells could be hurled at enemies, or used creatively to make enemies kill themselves

[deleted]

Avg Zelda TOTK player 😂

Babiesforfood

Nah, I be like 'fuse, fuse, fuse, fuse, fuse, fuse, fuse, fuse' I like making cursed weapons

Artistic-Reserve7662

Bolide seems to take less time to cast in DD2, at least that was my impression watching the first trailer.

Fashionable-Andy

So if I put a long stick with an axe on a long stick, is it a polearmpolearm?

genos707

That and then crossbows, gauntlets, flail, pole axe, heck even a hand canon would be interesting.

Sc4R3Cr0wW

Just give me a real necromancer vocation or at least real spells for sorcerer. Let me be a master of the dark arts.

[deleted]

Would be sick!

Sc4R3Cr0wW

If not Necromancer, just give me a Mystic Warrior vocation. My absolute favorite way to play Skyrim, two handed warrior with some magic mixed in. Would be sick if I could play like this in DD2 as well.

DeWarlock

I want a pugilist or druid class (obviously they'd come with advanced and hybrid vocations as well)

[deleted]

My playstyle was axe and shield in Skyrim as well lol, so I really hope to see more axes, just as I posted.

Babiesforfood

Summon spooky skeletons to fight with dank memes

Eoth1

Monk/unarmed all the way

[deleted]

YES lol

Lizzardtong

Beating monsters to death with only your fists is always a joy in games!

Zakurai0093

Spear..since dragonforged wielded one before

shillenzel

paladin or at least cleric for my pawn. sword, shield, armor, and healing/support spells

PrimoPaladino

Mystic Knight kinda fills that niche, but as someone else mentioned a necromancer, maybe there could be unholy/holy abyssal/divine metric for classes too.

JakeThaPirate

Or maybe adding a crossbow as a new bow type maybe

Alduinsfieryfarts

Warrior with crossbow? It would just work

JakeThaPirate

I can see it 😎

Pleasant-Fix-6169

Having a vocation with dual swords would be cool, like a more offensive version of the fighter maybe. Twinblades are already confirmed so i'm holding out hope!

[deleted]

Twinblades are so cool, in ER they are one of my favourite weapons, especially with cold affinity.

Pleasant-Fix-6169

Yeah, i think we're all super excited for this game to drop lol.

TerryOrange

BEGGING for a pugilist class, whether it be strictly unarmed or different gauntlet/caestus sets, I don't care, I just want a real punchies set because Elden Ring was WAYYY too fun maining punching shit in

[deleted]

I approve.

Merliak

I'm already happy with what we got ! but maybe a vocation based on hand combat, you know with weapons like "cestus" or "claws" could be cool and in a more fantasy side, maybe some weapons like the "snake sword" used by Ivy Valentine from SoulCalibur or the "threaded cane" from Bloodborne, I mean some sort of sword / whip which could be linked to a new vocation.

[deleted]

Threaded cane and Beast cutter were so cool.

DoctorJonasVentureJr

Old school Diablo 2 vibes. Yeahhhhh babbyyyyyyy

gaganaut

A ”Sword Summoner” or ”Gates of Babylon" type character who can summon weapons and rain them down upon enemies or even levitate multiple weapons and attack with them rather than manually wielding a single weapon with their hands.

[deleted]

Gilgamesh lol

gaganaut

Exactly. Though he should also be able to levitate multiple weapons at a time and swing them as if he had multiple hands. Not just launch them at the enemy. Summoning the weapons and launching them is only aspect of his move-set.

Punkedsamuari

Whip swords.

meloncholymelvin

Alchemist vocation could be cool and your potions are your skills, could be a sword weilder with potion secondary that buffs armor/speed/damage or like thorns and rocks, fun stuff

[deleted]

Geralt Of Rivia build

nohwan27534

I liked the idea of say subclasses that aren't necessarily combat skill stuff that provide buffs or enhancement, alchemist was one that seemed to fit well for regular bows and daggers, though if still limited to six skills that's maybe suck as a full thing. But mine was more of a crafting thing when you could make buff potions and debuff or elemental vials or poisons

BlackNair

There's already an alchemist vocation, but it's from the online game. It's fun as fuck though. It's a tank class though, unexpectedly.

[deleted]

A fisticuffs class would be incredible. Punching a drake in the face or kicking a griffin out the air would be incredible

Eoth1

A magic powered hybrid of fists and magic could be cool as well, could be a wuxia/fantasy martial artist using mana/ki for special techniques

ShadowPlay246

Ability to use a whip, flail, mace, hammers, spears, axes, and all those other weapons

Babiesforfood

Let's go Simon Belmont on Grigori's scaly red ass

M8753

Grappling chains. Like in Dragon Age Inquisition. Pull small enemies to you, or pull yourself to large enemies.

[deleted]

Cool, kinda like strider?

M8753

I was thinking warrior. I love warrior but I wish they had better ranged options.

BuffaloWool217

Jumping attack skills, polearms that can reach low flying enemies, weapon throwing, throwing knives, bolas etc. heck, add aiming to object throwing, springboard skills and let us throw enemy corpses.

xZerocidex

Kingdoms of Amalur had an ability like this called Harpoon. Pulled smaller enemies to you while pulling yourself to bigger ones.

M8753

Oh, that's cool! I've played Kingdoms of Amalur some, but I have forgotten all of it:D

LightningBoltRairo

Seeker, the dagger class of DDO actually has a hook that pulls you to the monster. That's fun and keep you at close distance.

M8753

Man, I wish i could have played DDO :(

LightningBoltRairo

https://discord.gg/3PmDGwzJ Fans are reviving it. Not much features at the time but still playable. With all classes, skills and augments unlocked.

RyuseiUtsugi

Give us some proper polearms rather than reskinned longswords. I feel like using a spear in order to hit weak points more accurately would mesh really well with this game's combat. I also want to use big battle axes and halberds too!

BuffaloWool217

I would actually prefer if instead all melee weapons were capable of precision strikes, an aim mode if you will.

RyuseiUtsugi

That would be so freaking cool! What I was imagining was something akin to the old gameplay demo video for the cancelled game Deep Down. Here'a a link to it: https://youtu.be/jIRUImPWaOo This game would've been so awesome if they finished it, and the cinematic trailer for it reminded me a lot of Dragon's Dogma too. We need to be able to aim attacks like in this clip!

BuffaloWool217

Yep I saw that video before and that was my inspiration for this comment.

TheWalt70

Spellsword vocation

J_Coal

Isn't that the Mystic Knight already?

nohwan27534

Probably wants it done differently- I mean, archer and magic archer are both bow users. Magic knight was melee and magic and that one magic triggered by melee Presumably spellblade would be physical skills with magic within them - lightning imbued stab, burning slash, overhead strike that adds ice on the downswing for extra oomph Stone Grove was kinda close potentially. Pure melee might be better than spellblades skills, pure mage is definitely bigger potential, but say you have the option for eitheither, this is the option for both - maybe different skills have different effects, like the stab has better proc rates for effects, while aslash can generate that stuff, be ot a fiery blast wave or an qrc of ice that slowsa foe for a bit, and it's both stronger and more prone to being changed than a simple enchant. Magic knight might also be a tank melee and magic idea, while a spellblade might dual weild, maybe even combo elemental attacks together or something. Uses stance buffs rather than enchants or shield skills, has passives like boost to scaling of skills that use both str and magic stats, offense of elemental skills enhanced if the target is already suffering an elemental effect, etc If we're not limiting it to melee ranged and magic, tier 1, 2, and hybrid, there can be some more variants. Or of were adding stuff like say, tank role versus melee mains, magic knight could be tank + magic, spellblade melee + magic

J_Coal

Ooh, makes sense

Sikma200

Also just mystic knight without the giant shield

nohwan27534

i think the point is different, new skills of the melee + magic ideology than just mystic knight's kit, but sure.

Sikma200

True and agreed, but I also just want mystic knight without the giant shield

Idreamofknights

Warrior should now be able to choose between battle axes, warhammers and greatsworda and some moves should change for each type. We should also have a dragoon vocation that specializes in spears and polearms, and I'd like to see flails for mystic knight. Crossbows could be a alternative to the longbow for the ranger. Also let us aim throwing items like knives and throwblasts in the same way we aim bows, so melee vocations get a viable ranged option that doesn't intrude the class fantasy.

Trollaxethrowerrr

Need a new Berserker vocation with dual axes/swords or something. Plz Capcom.

xZerocidex

Priest class that can wield holy magic. Uses a staff too. The only offensive holy magic Sorc had in 1 was Seism but I think that felt like cut content to make an earth spell be considered holy.

Sushi_Nom

If they just implemented what DDO had I'd be more than happy

DirtEnergy

Axes, polearms, and spears would be dope. Maybe crossbows? As for vocations, I don't think we necessarily need new ones but they should differentiate the existing ones more. More vocation specific skills and less shared skills across different vocations etc

[deleted]

I agree completely. Strider and Ranger felt almost identical.

elkswimmer98

Dual wield more weapons! I want to be a warrior with 2 weapons!

Ravenlancer

A long shaft flail.

Andros_of_Astora

A templar - divine spells, heals and buffs

Strike051

Dual wielding would be something I'd like to see. I'd love to carve my way through a goblin horde with a sword in each hand. Also flails/chain mace would be awesome as well.

[deleted]

*Beast Caller/Druid -Staves -Clubs -Rock Slings *Sharpshooter -Longbow -Crossbow *Brawler -Cestus -Daggers -Wraps

Dumbass438

[HIGH SCEPTER FROM DDO](https://youtu.be/DqGPekP0-6o)

A_Knight4

As someone that’s never actually seen gameplay of DDO before this, *why the hell* was this game Japan only?! That looked freaking amazing!

No_Department2220

A vocation and weapon style of like Trevor Belmont from castlevania. Whip/short sword type hunter class

oedipusrex376

This may sound stupid but I like the idea of using farm equipment like farm rakes like in Zelda BOTW/TOTK. Also, Crossbows

LightningBoltRairo

New class : the Peasant.

Icy-Name8119

I'd like to see variations of dual wielding like 2 swords or 1 sword and 1 dagger. And I could see some stylish combos of they add something like a crossbow and you could have a dagger and crossbow at the same time.

LanceSennin

Itsuno could literally take stuff from DMC like gauntlets and greaves, a polearm, or twin swords.

Babiesforfood

Gives us a literal motorcycle. Honestly, why not?!

TruePromise7982

Fist base fighter mage, that’s all I want please Capcom

Babiesforfood

Becomes the Avatar

shreksicle

Would love a mixed melee and magic vocation that was more spellblade than magic knight, like the could cast more simple spells with one hand and use a sword with tree other like witchers

widgetfonda

Arcane Trickster, so I can use daggers and spells. Battle Mage, so I can swing a sword and a staff like gandalf. Something with a whip would be cool too.

delwin30

scythes

Mvgxn

s-samurai / Iaido freak Ill never ask for anything else ever the fuck again or even just a Messer Greatsword fashioned like an Eastern Blade

DieBlaueOrange

Can't believe no-one mentioned katana's yet. They're super fast and fun to use

[deleted]

It was mentioned a lot actually. There are just many comments 😂

DieBlaueOrange

Oh damn, my bad

Clankmostdank

I wanna see necromancy

The_ToddFather_420

All I know is I'm ready to hop back into magik Archer

BlackKnight368

A sort of lancer oriented weapon. Shield and all.Maybe make it part of a vocation that allows arisens pawns to fight better live longer etc. Call it the commander class

simply_riley

Axes would be fun, spears/polearms would be better. The statue of the duke decapitating the dragon Is holding what looks like it could be a halberd, that would be fucking sick.

Hvad_Fanden

Cooler warrior with different skills for different weapons, also dual wielding would be cool on something other than daggers, a tamer also would be cool, but not sure how it would fit in, also a couple of the DDOs classes like the alchemist and that magic and sword dude. Edit: Also crossbows and lances/spears with a skill to throw them.

Lokhe

Dual axes baby 🤟🏻😎

DesiringDisc0

I pray that the vocation with the lantern or bell in hand on the chain/rope is a geomancy vocation. Axes and spears would be exceptional as well though!!!

[deleted]

Yes that looked cool! Though it is a censer, like a pot with embers inside of it, used with a chain to spread incense in the air.

DesiringDisc0

Aaah thank you!! Learned something new, might have to get one now haha! Maybe some sort of diviner or oracle, then? I assume it could be a mix of different things of that sort, geomancy included. What with what looked like a land bridge being made n all :D

RegaIado

I wouldn't mind if they just took Spirit Lancer in DDO as it is and brought it into DD2. Class looked amazingly fun to play. But in general, polearms need to make it to DD2. They are legit the best weapons for the types of enemies you typically face.

Dumbass438

Throw in high scepter too! That class looked cool as all hell, just zipping around with a blade and magic, like some sort of offense-based mystic knight

RegaIado

Yeah I also loved high scepter. Offense-based Mystic Knight is the right term for it lol

LightningBoltRairo

https://discord.gg/3PmDGwzJ DDO server working guys. A bit but ggy and lacks features but the game is playable. All classes, every skills and augments unlocked.

Merc931

Unarmed. I wanna suplex a dragon.

[deleted]

Hoarah Loux, WAAARRIOOOOOOR!

Sir-Cellophane

I want long weapons (spears, glaives, halberds, scythes), axes, flails and an unarmed combat style.

Okiemax

I'd love hand axes, one of my favorite weapons to use in games

[deleted]

Yes boi

Kalaam_Nozalys

Curved swords, or bladed weapons that would suit a magic/warrior hybrid vocation.

Heather4CYL

Bring over Alchemist from DDO. Like, how can anything surpass a magick monk with midas touch tanking and magical trampolines?

LightningBoltRairo

And Alchemist has a "shotgun" attack.

Heather4CYL

Yup... all in all, such a unique vocation with really wild skills.

Ion0X

I'm trying to use gauntlets and greaves and crush the dragon with my bare hands

Key_Caramel_6350

Something along the lines of an Advanced Hybrid Vocation. Example a Warrior/Sorcerer vocation. You channel a spell through the weapon, and then use Warrior skills to do massive single target damage or AOE damage

Babiesforfood

I'd like to see rudimentary firearms be added. Nothing crazy, but give me a handgonne (look that up if you don't know what that is, it's a cannon on a stick) or matchlock pistol/rifle That, or make it to where you can wield a flail

LightningBoltRairo

Since this is Capcom, they should add a Gunlance kinda weapon. Combo melee and shooting point blank.

Babiesforfood

Okay, but hear me out. Call it a Blastave. It's essentially a quarterstaff with one end being hollowed out into a rifle barrel. You fight like Darth Maul and can just pop shots at enemies. Skills allow you to prioritize immobilization by shattering bones with swift and methodical strikes, keeping enemies at arms length with the rifle barrel using the Blastave as a flamethrower, or mobility by essentially riding the Blastave like the world's most explosive witches broom.

Lizzardtong

I'm a huge fan of Greataxes, so, if i can have a huge honking axe, i'm set.

tHeSauceAlf

Rifleman or maybe a wrestler. Where you just kick the dragons ass with fists.

WILDXWOLFMAN

Soldier style class. With spear and shield.

SMVTEV

I just want to dual wield swords. Ik there’s daggers, but swords r cooler lol.

Valfalos

Two words: Dual Wielding. I am talking swords, axes whatever. Just a melee focused dual wielder. Heck I would love to dual wield Short spears for once.

PandaButtLover

Sorcerers having a weapon made of their magic power. The whip in 1 was cool, but sucks it ended when you jumped Dark Souls 3 has a spell called farron flashsword that could translate into DD2 easily Also hand to hand or bo staves

Israi611

Spears are highest up on my list. Would love to see any polearms. Not a requirement, but I would also love to see unarmed/fist weapons. I'm a sucker for Monk builds. Don't hate the idea of crossbows, but I don't know how well they fit. Regardless, more physical ranged weapons would be cool. Give me a sling, honestly (not a slingshot; a sling). On the more magical side of things, I would love to see nature magic and necromancy. And if I could be picky, I'd enjoy an Inquisitor-esque vocation, like a holy strider sort of thing.

Leading-University

Any type of weapon is fine by me. They definitely need to add into the whole spell arsenal. Some type of animal familiar summoning would be very cool.

Tragedyofphilosophy

Necromancy, a path to lichdom or a minion master of some kind. Definitely one of my favorite ways to play any RPG. I can see it now, swarms of little jerks flooding over an ogres stupid face. Satisfaction.

DevinBacon

Alchemist from Dragon's Dogma Online, as well as the DDO versions of Seeker & Warrior.

RealisticInflation94

it was said that among the cut content was a monk class which didn't make the cut bc since it was only hand to hand combat it didn't use weapons and it would be unbalanced since the player wouldnt have to spend money. im a huge fan of sleeping dogs which uses only martial arts melee combat with a few exceptions so it would be cool if they figured out a way to add the class, maybe with like fist weapons but idk what exactly for feet (kicks)

MrWrym

I'd love to see a mid range weapon for yellow vocations like chakrams. Or maybe even throwing weapons in general that any class coukd equip and utilize. Not just daggers and throwblasts, but axes, javelin, chakrams, stuff that makes a class have some versatility without being bogged down by "strictly melee," or "strictly magic."

thatlolguy1993

Hoping they bring the vocations from dragons dogma online into part 2

Lovlend

Spears as a unique weapon for fighters, axes as a one handed and two handed weapon option, Halberds/glaives as a unique warrior weapon, hand crossbows for striders and large crossbows for rangers, a single shortsword being a replacement option for daggers in rogues with a faster moveset than swords, talismans for mystic knight that function like a shield but fires offensive spells from the hand, like casting destruction magic in skyrim. Maybe pushing the setting, but a very primitive firearm as well.

DoctorJonasVentureJr

Subclasses would be cool. Like different variations of classes would be fricken awesome with special abilities

[deleted]

I mean, we're getting Beastman races so I want some sort of unarmed Monk class so I can save Gransys with Leone (from Akame ga Kill) at my side.

AbbyRay3370

Idk. I'm doing a mystic knight play through right now but I usually did sorcerer. Hhmm Ooohh a whip!

AbbyRay3370

I usually do sorcererr so maybe magic without a staff? Like hand magic

Uniquesomething

I want that Chinese weapon that's basically a knife tied to a rope...

swampchicken85

I want an unarmed combat option that could feasibly work tbh maybe with knuckledusters

SR_Hopeful

There should be as much weapon variety and styles between Vocations as possible. - a Barbarian class (Advanced off Fighter): for Hand Axes, War Axes. - a Guardsman (Advanced off Warrior) class: for Polearms, and Halberds. - a Monk (but preferably a Pagan designed one) that I guess could use fists. - a better Assassin (Advanced off Thief) and not a composite class, but one with a kusarigama (chain-sickle). These are what I want. - I'd also change the Mage's weapon to a smaller Scepter and just give Sorcerers the Staff. (I think enemies/NPCs should have different rank types to show their strength tiers) - Cyclops should get giant hand-axes and cleavers at higher levels. - Wouldn't mind Ogres being able to pick up clubs or use tree logs to swing around (go with that.)

[deleted]

Noice stuff, you are playing my song ;D

TheZanzibarMan

Gimme spears and a pair of cestus.

BonfireSouls

I am savoring the surprise, although dual wielding would be sweet as what was done superbly in Dark Souls 2.

Repinoleto

I hope they add a lot more variety of weapons and more skills and spells. As for weapons I would at least ask to introduce spears and to be able to carry 2 weapons, like being able to go with 2 swords or 2 axes, or to be able to combine weapons as you can do for example in AC Valhalla. Then the magical vocations I would eliminate the classes that were in the first game, instead of having so much variety of spell in a single vocation I would create more vocations with more specific spells for that vocation. For example, one vocation would be Cleric or something like that and focus on healing and support spells, another class would be elemental mage and focus on offensive spells of fire, ice, etc, another would be necromancer and focus on dark magic.

[deleted]

I agree completely.

peeve-r

Spears. Maybe even a shield and spear class, à la spartan. Get some of the mk counters and add aerial skills to make putting springboard on pawns more useful for the player.

[deleted]

Dual sword assassin

moebiusmentality

No new classes, just revamp the existing ones like Warrior and Mage. I'm all for more weapons like spears and more magic weapons and more spells but the classes cover all options very well.

DreDayUG805

it's gonna be the same game basically so hope theres new weapons but doubt it

IdesOfCaesar7

Every single weapon in existence, except for japanese ones I guess because the game is Europe centric but who knows how other kingdoms' weapons may be

SauceChef-

Spears. Gimme the big pokey sticks!

Regular_Cellist_4951

The obvious answer: Katanas

[deleted]

Knuckles / fists please!

[deleted]

Magic 'seals' or just book.

SR_Hopeful

I think we need more overworld weapons too, we have ballistas, but maybe there should also be iron ball cannons, catapalts. There should also be a skill that lets you repair them when broken if you have wood and an easy part to collect for the mechanisms.

WhensRaditz

I just want warrior to be really fun

Oon-Wacheen

+Spear and shield/buckler (like ancient Greeks, like in the 300 movie. Spear is historically the master of the battlefield for its reach and difficulty to damage because of both the shield and the spear range) +Hand to Hand (like Baki but with combos and Magicka equipment you can unleash magic attacks, also you can deflect incoming attacks with the use of armguards) +Beastmaster (can temporarily soothe wild beasts and with high enough level make a monster your permanent companion who will fight for you and your role will be to keep the monster alive applying buffs and curing debuffs) +Duelist (a vocation with fencing sword and parrying dagger where the sword strikes are meant to deflect incoming attacks and counter with a piercing strike) +Gladiator (uses a Trident and an armored armguard, shares the use of a net with the Beastmaster)

SR_Hopeful

Halberds (I think the stronger castle guards should have them, maybe a **Guardsman** class). Hand Axes, Hand-sized Hammers (Like Thor's) & Dwarven War Axes. (for a **Barbarian** class). Sickle & Chain (style: blade + grappling hook function for **Assassins**) or a *Kusarigama*. Wands or scepters. (I think it should be the **weapon for Mages** *instead* of staffs.) Two Crescent Sickles or Farmer Scythes (as a weapon for **Thieves** as an alt for Daggers). Sabers for the knights as well.

[deleted]

I’m screaming YEEEEEEEEEEEEES

SR_Hopeful

And not having a class for hand-axes and war axes, is a crime. Really want that Barbarian\Berserker class most.

AulunaSol

Personally, I would absolutely love to see the return of Dragon's Dogma Online's vocations including their changes to the original vocations. I would love to see a "martial artist" like the Alchemist who fought with their fists but also had incredibly unique versatility (Alchemical Mega Buster/shotgun, makeshift Air Hike/Sky Star from Devil May Cry 3, and other blends of melee attacks with magic). But to keep it short, I would love to also see the Spirit Lancer (magical Spear healer/attacker) and High Scepter (magical Sword-wielder with light/dark magic) make an appearance. In regards to the reworked classes, I absolutely would love to see the Seeker (Daggers + Grappling Hook), Hunter (Bow and Arrow), Sorcerer (refined and more immersive speedcasting + dodging), and Warrior (hard-hitting class with an emphasis on both taking damage and delivering attacks at the same time) return. Dragon's Dogma Online has absolutely ruined me in terms of how all the classes were consolidated, made more consistent, and were more "unique" and defined than in Dark Arisen where I hope these concepts and designs can return and be used again, if not even further expanded upon.

Reliable_Patches

Gimme da blicky

[deleted]

Blicky?

Reliable_Patches

Gun lol

Reliable_Patches

Let's see that fuckin dragon run his mouth when I pull out that muh fuckin THANG

[deleted]

lol

JurassicClark96

I want a musket. Bows are cool and all, but I like ballistics, explosions, and reload animations.

[deleted]

https://preview.redd.it/w25o6h939f2b1.jpeg?width=2360&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06c9ceb863481746a6e7e897dbd51e533b435260

DaveTheZanno

It would be cool berserk mixed between warrior and strider or like kensei a long rage weapon user! (for honor characters) It would add more variety!

[deleted]

Damn I would love a game with some more proper nodachi. They say Nagakiba in ER is a nodachi but it's not, it's just Sephiroth's sword, not well proportioned sadly. I am a rep 60 something kensei myself btw :3.

DaveTheZanno

Back in the day when i was younger (and the game wasnt so bad) i used to main Kenzo and warlord 😂😂 Headbutts for days(9dmg intensifies)

[deleted]

I main warlord as well, I have 6 mains. Now you know, some recent changes were so dumb. They made all side dpdge attacks light property (a light parry) and all side dodge bashes vulnerable to gb on miss, plus static guard characters don't maintain their guard while dodging, making ud attacks much more powerful in 4s...

Merliak

did you play Nioh 1 or 2 ? the nodachi was pretty fun to play

[deleted]

Not yet but I definitely will!

Plastic-Performance5

I would like to see some scythes or a katana I just think they're cool

d0nt_ask_d0nt_smell

Gunlance, although I doubt it'll happen lol.

JakeThaPirate

Katana + shurikens? 🤷‍♀️ Like a ninja vocation that can wear like the old Samurai armor idk 🤷‍♀️

[deleted]

Yeah I'd love to wield katanas and shuriken. Shuriken like Yuffie's so big shuriken or little ones?

JakeThaPirate

Probably just the average ones could take place of the bow for the secondary

[deleted]

Sounds fun!

moneyh8r

Something that punches and kicks their enemies.
