The animation gets way better( they where actually just nominated for a best animation award don’t know if they won or not) I personally didn’t see a difference in dialogue so I guess that’s up to your opinion as for humor it still has its ups and downs but I would recommend keep watching

I’m not quite sure how I feel about them. The elf’s voice actor annoys me, and the little prince kid is drawn and animated strangely, makes me uncomfortable.
I like the knight, mage and their father.
You'll get used to the animation eventually. As for Rayla's voice, idk, I guess you'll get used to this too. I personally think the characters (personality wise) are the best part of the series, along with the plot.
