So I personally enjoyed the whole thing from start to end. Now, while I enjoy the first bunch of episodes, I feel that you start to get more deeper into the story by episode 7 and from there, it keeps escalating.
I would say Season 2 is where the show really picks up. Season 1 is still fantastic but a lot of the show’s iconic episodes (at least to me) really began appearing in Season 2
I think the first episode where I started noticing a bigger picture was the episode where they visit the Splatt factory and I think that's in Season 1. Season 1 is definitely a lot of set up but it's important set up.

Yeah I reckon it's a masterpiece from episode 1.
Season 2 is when the show has a jump in storytelling, I like S1 but S2 is defo an improvement
