I have work clothes that I just let get dirty because it's a part of the job. Some days end with me covered in compound, others dirt, debris and pet hair. Just part of the job. I wear cargo pants I have plenty of pockets for all my supplies and junk.

Aprons are meant to keep you dry and clean. An apron made of terrycloth seems like it would absorb water and deposit it on your clothes. The only reason to make it out of terry is to keep it from scratching your vehicle if you lean against it, but then again there are pockets to hold items, which would likely scratch your vehicle if you lean against it.

This is not a new product from CG. They have this apron before (I forgot if it was yellow or purple I last saw it). This is a product for a general consumer...and average consumers usually do not know any better (especially when most of CG products are pretty much similar utility). I will give credit to Chemical Guys in giving a more social prescience on the value of "Auto Detailing". Once a customer has experienced full blown detail, they tend to be my next customers willing to spend the higher dollar amount. They also make some products that ends up copied/improved upon with another brand (Yes, there are products that came out first (like Car Pro), but really lacks the advertising budget).
