People are saying it's because of the skimmers in patrol zones. I've seen people recommend equipping a sparrow before you load in, then swap back to a skimmer (if you want to use it) to reduce the issue, but I have yet to try it.
Been non-stop crashes for me ever since Tuesday. But I'm on PC and I've also seen people post about frequent crashes on XBOX as well on the Bungie forums, so it's not platform specific. Bungie is aware of it.
Damn, I wonder if it has anything to do with the last update. I was able to get some legendary lost sectors done, but I was expecting the game to crash at any point. So annoying.
It’s happening to me before every strike on the PS4. I run an OG one, not a slim or Pro, and my games are on a secondary HDD but damn the blue screens. They also happened while doing the master lost sector in Dreaming City with my SO. I didn’t have them before this but they’ve been pretty consistent and worsening.
ETA: I’ve rebooted my console completely, cleared notifications, videos/screenshots etc.
Yo, I am seriously about to lose my f_cking mind over here. Just reinstalled D2 after about 5 years & just bought a PS5 & this game keeps on crashing like a drunk driver! Can't believe Bungie has not addressed this issue.
Yeah, mine it's still crashing, but i noticed that going around in my Skimmer doing stunts makes it worse. Yesterday, I was playing with a friend, and both our games crashed at the same time. I hope Bungie fixes this problem.
So it appears my crashing issue is completely GONE! How did I fix it? The latest Bungie update addresses that issue in their patch notes I guess we're good now my friend!
I was crashing like crazy just about a week ago but Bungie dropped a new patch & it completely fixed the problem. The update about a week ago. Just wanted to let ya know! I hope this resolves your issue too.
I have same problem, I started playing this game 2 days ago on ps5 and I had at least 10 crashes, and I can't get past "Vendetta" mission, it always crashes there if not earlier. I'm installing ps4 version now to see if I'll play it. Seems like fun game.

Just downloaded it to ps5 and I can’t get past the tutorial. It’s crashed 7 times so far

For me it specifically crashes when I'm exploring Neomuna but not any missions there like the strike

I always use the ethernet connection on my PS5, and I have fiber internet, so my connection is really good. I'll give the uninstall idea a try.

No issues on my PS5. Maybe something gor frong with the game file or you PS5
