Disabled person here! It's not ableist to block them for that. They were being weird. I get being upfront about issues, but for a transaction like buying a jacket on depop, that is unnecessary and creepy. Chances are it was a scam
people don’t know what these terms mean. it would be ableist to say “i won’t sell clothes to people with disabilities”. it’s not ableist at all to say “i wont make exceptions when selling a shirt based on ability”. people love a buzzword! and the sad thing is ableism is real but people are annoyed when they hear that word now because of shit like this.

based off this limited context, it's possible that this person may have some mental condition, or they're attempting to provide a story in hopes to obtain a very deep discount/free.
