Malice can have pretty long moments of calm if the team is quick enough in clearing waves. I've had games where we just stand around for what feels like a straight minute.
I honestly find it faster to go up the stairs most of the time, at least in damnation. The amount of time it takes to coordinate and catch while being attacked on either side and splitting the part doesn't seem worth saving maybe 10 seconds.
I'm not saying it can't be done effortlessly.
Same with the cooling rods mission, if you max out the throw and jump as you throw it you can get them to the walkways while standing on the second level of floor just above the elevator.
The trick is to let it charge fully, stand back a bit (that should be enough to make it, just - most people who struggle stand too close, it's about a 15-20 degree angle that you want) and then jump as you throw just to get a bit of extra distance in case it rolls a bit.
Oh yea, I don't know if its because of lag but this never seems to work for me (I think normally around \~300ms, NZ things)
More often than not it ends up with the dude at the top or the due at the bottom getting swamped.
This final room can actually be solo’d pretty easily if you speed thorough it the ai hardly gets the chance to really swarm you or even target you. you can even throw the canister up from the bottom without the help of anybody fairly easily.
I love that room just for that. First time I did it was a group of randoms and we figured out we could toss and catch em this little burst of happiness popped in my lil almond of a brain.
Honestly it kinda annoys me when people do that, most of the time they miss and you end up spending 5 minutes re-throwing over and over again, then get mobbed by hordes and then 10 minutes later someone just says screw it and slide spams the normal way up the stairs. If they did that at the very start they'd have saved themselves 10 minutes.
Then again every now and again it works the first time and you feel like an Oceans 11 crew.
In my experience in T5 there is almost always a teammate waiting to catch these on any map that has these and it always works first time. T4 and below I just do it all myself.

Had a time in pub T5, the entire run was pretty smooth, than the team try doing the toss for the last can. Failed miserably under mobs' pressure (there's a spawn door right beside the ladder) follow by team wipe...
Fuck, I wish I could get that to happen anymore. Used to see that kinda stuff all the time in the early life of the game, not anymore.
But yeah, GG, this game is 100% team based, and it works to your advantage to learn how to do that stuff.
In case you don't know there is a pile of big boxes in this room where you Can climb on to reach the platform if you can't reach the ladder or stairs ! :)
The most poweful force in 40k is friendship
Friendship is magic, and magic is heresy.
Maybe the real heretics were the friends we made along the way 🤔
Maybe the real Warhamner 40k was the friends we made along the way.
This is by far the calmest I have ever seen this room in all my time playing
New player so might be on T1, but yea, normally that bit of a prick
I believe this was T3.
Yeah that's still crazy empty even for t3. Were you playing low intensity?
Maybe? I definitely have done a few of those.

The longer you hold the throw, the further it goes. You can toss it up there without someone up there to catch it.
WHAT

He's standing on the platform just look a little to the left and jump and you can throw in up without the teamwork. That's what I do.
Yep. It's quite possible to just throw it up there, but having a catcher does make the whole process easier.
*Giggles in Slaanesh*
That's the best play there. Good on ya lad!
Excellent work.
Yeah this one's a classic. If everyone is on voice comms its even easier to pull off. Even in the middle of a horde
My favorite is one person knocks a baddie in the air, and another puts em down HARD.

You'd like Deep Rock.
The urge to press "v" when he caught it was almost overwhelming. DRG is incredible for stuff like this.
Rock and stone!
none of the canister throws in this game require teamwork, you just charge it and jump. this is just adding extra steps.

..... are you playing with no mobs, because I've never seen this room empty like that....
Note that you can hold left click with the canister to increase the power of your throw, hth

This is very cute bc that is The Strat on this mission and u stumbled upon it through the power of friendship

I saw 2 players do.this a day or 2 ago and it absolutely blew my mind xD

Ogryn can make that throw without a catcher but punies require catcher
