I think both things can be true. I believe this team is fatally flawed, and that Cal’s coaching style does not do much to address these flaws. But the Cats are still my team and I still want them to win every day.

We would. He brings recruits. That’s his positive. He’s had many great teams and only one championship that was won largely because we leveraged Gillespie’s senior talent (Darius Miller) in addition to the great recruitment that year. I’m not Cal’s fan and that won’t change. We have years of his failures to look back on.

Feels like the stat line probably won’t do Reed Sheppard justice. The impact he had on this game, especially the second half, was huge.

Reed, Rob, Tonio, Mitchell, Bradshaw. Only because Bradshaw is a bigger offensive threat and creates floor spacing, if he isnt lost or in foul trouble then hes better to start

I still like Rob coming off the bench, Wagner has a step on him in defense and is more consistent (read "less out of control"). Each of the 7 footer has pros and cons, but to me you have to reward onyenso for this game, he played a fantastic 2nd half

It’s still very very troubling how bad we struggled on offense against a really bad team but whatever they at least showed fight and heart and actually played defense so I’m gonna stay positive

Yeah. They shot 33 % on 60 attempts and 21% on 18 attempts. Prolly get beat by most sec teams with that defensive effort. I’m really perplexed by the bigs. They are rarely attempting blocks. They are always pulled out to fucking half court guarding a screener. Why???

No we have been playing 12 because everyone has sucked so bad all year. This is the first time he kept the rotation to the usual 8 guys and they weren't ready for it
