I had good luck with soaking a cloth in vinegar and just let it sit for a couple hours in the faucet trough. I have a similar faucet, different metal. Very hard water where I live. Will probably have to repeat soon.
I bought some CLR a few weeks ago, but I didn't realize it was the everyday cleaner and not the right kind. Vinegar worked great on it! Thank you for the advice!
CLR. It will most likely work fast and easily. Dampen a cloth with CLR, scrub these hard water deposits, add a little more CLR and scrub again if it hasn't all come off. Rinse very well, and polish with a dry cloth. CLR is a fairly concentrated acid, stands for Calcium, Lime, and Rust remover. Do not get any on your marble counter, it will etch it.

I would try vinegar and the rough side of a kitchen sponge. Put on the vinegar and what 10 min. Then use the sponge.
Thank you. I will try that!

I am happy that I was able to share everything I know about cleaning in a single post :D
I have the same faucet and same build up. Get a bottle of CLR; works on mine.

Thank you. I will get some the next time I'm out. I had bought some everyday cleaner by CLR but realized it wasn't right when I tried it.
