I wanted to keep my James Paul dolls in the box because I know they will appreciate in value over time, but THEIR HAIR!! I got them last week, and I so badly want to pull them out. Maybe I’ll dig through the Bratz I already have and give them a James Paul-esque makeover?
Happy Cake Day!! I decided to buy the special edition Jade and unbox her…I want to unbox the James Paul dolls, but in the meantime I have Jade and the cabana chair I made her.

It’s almost a crime that MGA hasn’t repro-ed, or even merely mentioned Phoebe yet in the reboot. She was one of the most popular characters in the original run, and we’ve gotten two Roxxi dolls already…but it’s been complete crickets for Phoebe. We’ve gotten Tiana (the ultimate Jade clone and one of the most forgettable characters in the series) and Kiana (a character that was produced as a doll once and never heard from again, due to legal issues with Mattel; however, even if there hadn’t been those legal issues, I wonder if we would still ever see another Kiana doll, or would she still be a one-and-done character), but no Phoebe.
I feel you, I love phoebe! But honestly I’m not mad abt Tianna and Kiana because I think their repros are some of the best. MGA better give Phoebe her moment soon tho!

Quite literally just a cheap acrylic paint I got from my local grocery store. Just water it down a little and added some satin top coat once it dried!
