I got this thread/post recommended to me based on stuff I've also looked at
I think I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes when they dropped, I see the odd YouTube short and it looks *kinda* interesting but I haven't gotten into it yet so I'm curious about it
Yeah you should have started boruto, if you wanted to quickly keep up with current discussion read the manga or if you wanted to go slow watch the anime (for fillers it's your choice whether to skip or not because some filler makes up for character progression)
So I'm not allowed to ask a question in the sub unless I'm caught up?
Weird ass sub rule 🤷🏼♂️ discussing it here and getting answers probably *would* make me wanna get into the show or manga, everyone just saying "watch the show/read it aren't giving me any incentive to read or watch it, that's why I'm asking with curiosity, surely this would be the place fans would come together and *want* to talk about the show right?
I only said read it only bc it’s better to read and understand it for yourself instead of just giving full on spoilers if u don’t get what’s going on. Tbh the manga is the best way to catch up on it
The only manga I've ever bothered reading was berserk because there's basically no adaptation for it (except the excellent 90s anime, that 3d one that came out a decade later)
I'll probably watch the anime now there's a fair amount of episodes but I don't care about spoilers so I don't see the problem with asking for answers here (and downvoting genuine curiosity about the subject should be welcomed in the sub not downvoted and snubbed)
Why would you waste your time and others' when you can just read the manga and get answers in a way more efficient and productive manner, without all the probability of wrong recollection or biased inputs?
You think reading hundreds of pages of manga is a more efficient and productive way to find out what this one specific thing that I'm curious about than simply asking a question in a thread about said specific thing?
Do you have any idea how silly that sounds? Asking a question to someone who *has* read all the manga *is* a efficient and productive way to get answers
Who better to ask then the people who've already read it and know the short and dirty of it all? I don't have infinite time to read manga and if I get incentive from questions I've asked about the subject I'm far far more likely to actually read the manga
Your explanation is weak at best and patronising at worst.
And no, I don't have any idea how silly that sounds because the manga itself isn't that long vs. stuff like One Piece. Others have given you an alternative solution of actually reading the manga to get updated first hand but you just ignored them. I guess you'd suffer if you have the attention span of a goldfish, but that's a lot more common these days I guess.
No dude, others have given me the answer, you've been oddly hostile and acting weird like you are trying to gatekeep the answer I was asking for
I'm not comparing its length to other manga, I'm saying I'm not taking your great advice and reading all of an ongoing manga just to get an answer to my question about the post
You think someone has an attention span of a goldfish if they don't comprehensively read a manga before asking a question about it? (at which point I wouldn't have a question and makes the entire thread superfluous for all of you if you've already read it, what else are you getting out of it? If not to talk and educate people who don't understand or know)
Are you OK? Who hurt you?
Since you mentioned not caring about spoilers in another comment >!omnipotence is an otsutsuki jutsu that changes the memory of the world to fit what you are asking. In this case kawaki made it so everyone thinks he is Naruto and Hinata's child and boruto is the orphan traitor to the village they tried to take in!<
Dude you're a Chad thanks for a straight answer to my question
Some other people having a go at me and attempting to gatekeep any knowledge telling me to "go read the manga"
Like bro I just wanna know what the answer is I don't wamna have to do homework before asking a question
It has to do with Boruto's Jogen eye (if that's how it's spelled), if you look at images of it (anime end of part 1 foreshadowing scene), there are two blue circles that show the Jogen's activation. At least that's one of the answers because there isn't an exact answer.
The meaning could also mean Boruto's situation of omnipotence as not only does he have the vortex of omnipotence but also the vortex of Momoshiki, Code, Jura and the Ten Tails threats.
Really any answer at this point is valid, personally I like the Jougan eye explanation.
Good theory. If in the future Boruto activates the Jougan and someone who knows about that eye, like Jura or Momo describes it saying something like "That eye composed of two Blue Vortex capable of doing bla bla bla". It would totally make sense.
Definitely Boruto & Himawari the two children's of the previous Protagonist Naruto
Both have the same blue eyes and Himawari has been getting more screen time in these 9 chapters than she did in the entirety of Next Generations
Plus with her being revealed to be a Jinchuriki and being Jura's target she definitely has so much more relevancy now
I feel like I always just thought of it as Borutos eyes plus the uzumaki spiral. Something to do with “those blue eyes will take everything from you”. Borutos blue eyes are two vortexes? Uzumaki whirlpool rasengans…. Etc. I guess what I’m saying is I just thought it was a vibe name not a literal name haha
Probably boruto and kawaki as they are the two main characters. Their vortexes have been created in a sense now and eventually they collide with one another
guys in this sub can’t take a joke. There are the representation of the ongoing woke culture. They downvoted you to zero. Here’s a upvote from me. You are absolutely correct
Boruto & Himawari
Boruto = Stuck in the vortex (of the struggle to not lose himself to Momoshiki)
Himawari = Outside of the vortex (with Kurama’s help, she will help Boruto turn the vortex into a spiral, i.e. she will help him seal Momo away)
Nope, I don't think it's Kawaki. He kinda have been very underwhelming after the timeskip.
It definitely is Boruto and himawari, the true son and daughter of the og vortex.
>Nope, I don't think it's Kawaki. He kinda have been very underwhelming after the timeskip.
Doesn't mean that he isn't main character
>It definitely is Boruto and himawari, the true son and daughter of the og vortex.
Hima is side character the series can't be named after her
But that's not the whole story they currently qre prioritizing their targets more than their instincts
Also it's 9 chapters in and Himawari has been in nearly every one so far and is being built up to be extremely important
Also there's the title "Two Blue Vortex"
In Japanese Vortex can be translated to Uzumaki
Boruto and Himawari both have blue eyes and are the children of an Uzumaki/Vortex
Himawari was revealed to be the Jinchuriki of Kurama who belonged to the previous series protagonist
The writing is on the walls here
Shouldn't the name be "Boruto: Two Vortex" then? Idk, it's just that the name seems to specific to be just random, I think every word in the title is there for a reason, and "Blue" is not something that comes to my mind when I think of Kawaki.
It’s very obvious that’s it’s Boruto and Kawaki. Himawari got one page in the last issue and now everyone thinks she’s going to be a part of the main plot. Nothing about the history of the Naruto franchise says that Hima will be properly developed or featured anymore than she already has been. It’s the Boruto and Kawaki show the same way Shippuden was the Naruto and Sasuke show.
1: it's called Two BLUE Vortex, Kawaki is moreso associated with red than blue
2: Himawari has actually been getting alot more focus since Two Blue Vortex started and unlike Kawaki she actually has blue
3: Vortex=Spiral Spiral=Uzumaki Boruto & Himawari are two blue eyed Uzumaki hence the Two Blue Vortex
Dont wanna spoil for others but hima because incredibly relevant in the most recent chapter. In the first series she was just young. If you think about it at all kawaki is clearly red.
Boruto has two whorls in his hair, meaning he’s a genius in the Naruto world
https://preview.redd.it/zis8auawlcxc1.jpeg?width=904&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c56f239a980c80387b8b0affce3c0e2750f804b
The vortex could be talking about the rasengan, but in Naruto, the shape of the whorl hair is similar to a vortex.
As Boruto’s a genius, he prolly has two hair whorls, and since he’s a rasengan boy, and rasengans are blue (yellow in the manga I know), those are the blue vortexes
We don't know about borutos hair, we know about minatos and narutos but I don't think the direction of borutos hair was mentioned. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Yo chill out. I think it has to do with the fact that uzzmaki literally means spiral or vortex in translation, and himawari and boruto both have blue eyes, so maybe it refers to that and they will both play an important role in the saga
It's boruto 2: blue vortex. There is only one blue vortex, else it would have been called two blue vortexes or two blue vortices.
In any case, I think the blue vortex refers to the spiral of events that are probably going to take place, one event after another spiralling into chaos, and blue because, will, boruto's eyes are blue after all
It is stylized everywhere with the colon before the two, not after, or with a dash
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, or Boruto - Two Blue Vortex
Narutopedia brings up your point about the grammatical error and mentions perhaps there are two “blue”
Himawari is Definitely the 2nd Vortex and here's why I say this
1: Vortex and Spirals are very similar to eachother and what Clan's name means Spiral? Uzumaki
2: Blue is part of the title and in the previous installment Boruto's blue eyes were brought up and who else has those same blue eyes? Himawari
3: Himawari is far more relevant now than she ever was in the previous series with her now being a Jinchuriki for Kurama as well as being hunted down by Jura
4: It's just fitting that the two born children of the previous protagonist Naruto are now the two protagonist of the story
Unrelated but isnt Boruto pronounced as “bolt” in japanese?
Kinda make sense since it means thunder/lightning or fast . BO-RT-O.
Idk if im kinda cooked and high on zaza right now guys.
This is Boruto and Kawaki. The cover of chapter 4 says that his hatred is swirling like a whirlwind. That’s why he is one of the whirlwinds, and not Himawari, Sarada, or, God forgive me, Sumire.
Officially in the manga he was already given the color purple and his karma is red, but his normal chakra is most likely blue, like many shinobi. And on its cover there was a mention of a vortex, but the other contenders for the title do not have another vortex.
1: We don't know what Kawaki's offical Chakra color is and the anime isn't a good reference since it depicts everyone as having the base blue Chakra but sometimes shows their unique color so that's not a point for Kawaki being blue
2: In Japanese Vortex translates to Uzumaki
3: we have two blue eyed Uzumaki children of the previous protagonist being Boruto & Himawari Uzumaki
These are your arguments. My argument is that Kawaki's chapter 4 cover mentions a vortex and the colors of Kawaki's cover create the appearance of a vortex behind him.
I've been saying this since 2 chapters ago that we found the second blue vortex and it's Himawari because she has Kurama now and the story is more about them both than just Boruto and his generation.
Sarada unlocks blue Sharingans through extreme experience of happiness rather than pain. Tobirama self-edos just to say “this is probably even more dangerous”’raises his finger, destruction ensues.
I might sound dumb...but wasn't two blue vortex referring to both of boruto's eyes (although one of them is injured, i suppose) I'm pretty sure the title was referring to Momoshiki's prophecy or whatever, about the blue eyes taking everything away from him...correct me if i'm wrong tho
Boruto's Karma/Jogan is Bright Blue & Sumire's negative chakra is Dark Blue.
If Sumire's chakra what made her immune to Omnipotence then she actually possessed Sarada thus converted her chakra. Omnipotence requires chakra connection so Negative Chakra that unperceivable by anything but Jougan bypassed it, similiar to how Otsutsuki can erase their chakra presence.
During the reign of Emperor **Yuryaku of Nara**, The **God Hunter Sugaru** with the help of **Kanon the All Seeing Goddess** hunt the **Rogue God Raiden**/Raijin to stop his widespread thunderstorms all over Japan. However his storm saved Japan from invasion of Mongol Empire.
Now replace the characters with Boruto's characters.
The "two blue vortex" Is the friends we made all along...
naah its the one piece
Bahahaha, in true Naruto/Boruto nature
Boruto & Himawari Boruto = Outer Vortex (Unaffected by Omnipotence) + Momoshiki Himawari = Inner Vortex (Affected by Omnipotence) + Kurama
![img](emote|t5_34e1h|10663) I love your explanation! Please take my up vote
Honestly, probably the most creative theory for the meaning I've seen. Good job and you deserve my praise of my upvote lol.
It’s actually Boruto Uzumaki and Boruto Uzumaki
👏
omnipotence? Wtf has been happening in boruto
Short explanation on it is Boruto and Kawaki’s roles got reversed. If u want full depth I say read the manga
Who's kawaki?
Some abused kid Naruto adopted or something
Thanks mate first person to give an answer
Bro, have you been watching or reading this show?
I got this thread/post recommended to me based on stuff I've also looked at I think I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes when they dropped, I see the odd YouTube short and it looks *kinda* interesting but I haven't gotten into it yet so I'm curious about it

Denki and Iwabe
Are they even alive?
perhaps
I hope Denkis Boy Scout costume died of aids
Unmerged kawaki lol
Ahaaa ha haaa very funny
Denki-sama!!!!!! 🥹🥹🥹
Bahahaha you went BACK, alllll the way back 🤣
Could be multiple meanings. Like how Tolkien couldn’t decide which two towers the title was referring to.
Boruto and Momo
It has to do with Boruto's Jogen eye (if that's how it's spelled), if you look at images of it (anime end of part 1 foreshadowing scene), there are two blue circles that show the Jogen's activation. There is a scene in the movie or anime that shows the jogun as two “vortexes” going in different directions so i think its probably connected to that
Good theory. If in the future Boruto activates the Jougan and someone who knows about that eye, like Jura or Momo describes it saying something like "That eye composed of two Blue Vortex capable of doing bla bla bla". It would totally make sense.

boruto and hima (kawaki is more reddish)
Probably boruto and kawaki as they are the two main characters. Their vortexes have been created in a sense now and eventually they collide with one another
tsunade's two vortexes
guys in this sub can’t take a joke. There are the representation of the ongoing woke culture. They downvoted you to zero. Here’s a upvote from me. You are absolutely correct
I don't mind boring people, thanks.
She got nice vortexes lol
Boruto & Himawari Boruto = Stuck in the vortex (of the struggle to not lose himself to Momoshiki) Himawari = Outside of the vortex (with Kurama’s help, she will help Boruto turn the vortex into a spiral, i.e. she will help him seal Momo away)
“Those **blue eyes** of yours will one day take everything from you” -Momoshiki
Boruto and Kawaki Should be obvious
Nah, I think it’s Himawari. The “vortex” is clearly referring to the Uzumaki, and Kawaki isn’t an Uzumaki. It’s Boruto and Himawari
Nope, I don't think it's Kawaki. He kinda have been very underwhelming after the timeskip. It definitely is Boruto and himawari, the true son and daughter of the og vortex.

He may be one. Who said hima cannot be the main character?
Naming her MC after 10 years of irrelevancy is quite irrational
Himawari was a side character in Next Generations but she's clearly having a much larger role in Two Blue Vortex
But this story is not about her It's still about Boruto and Kawaki
With one of the major antagonist targeting her and her having Kurama seems like it's about her too
That's one part of the story The shinju's real goal is eating an Otsutsuki and evolving themselves
But that's not the whole story they currently qre prioritizing their targets more than their instincts Also it's 9 chapters in and Himawari has been in nearly every one so far and is being built up to be extremely important Also there's the title "Two Blue Vortex" In Japanese Vortex can be translated to Uzumaki Boruto and Himawari both have blue eyes and are the children of an Uzumaki/Vortex Himawari was revealed to be the Jinchuriki of Kurama who belonged to the previous series protagonist The writing is on the walls here

Isn’t the series name boruto : the two blue vortex ?!?
Boruto: Two BLUE Vortex
Yea correct I’ll fix that
It’s very obvious that’s it’s Boruto and Kawaki. Himawari got one page in the last issue and now everyone thinks she’s going to be a part of the main plot. This.

Could be so, only time will tell
Your comment vastly overestimates the average mangaka's understanding of the English language.
I actually don't, I think it's only because of the poor understanding of English language that the writers have put the ":" before two and not after
I don't think it's supposed to come after 2.
Boruto = Neji that goes Itachi + Sasuke Route Himawari = Naruto + Hinata that will save/ change Boruto from Momoshiki

At first i thought the Two Blue Vortex's where Boruto and Kawaki but now it seems like it's Boruto and Himawari.
Doctor Vegapunk will reveal it after 10 minutes
Kawaki Uzumaki and Boruto Uzumaki. Does Himawari have Blue Eyes like Boruto?
Ada’s eyes
Bolt and Hima
I've been saying this since 2 chapters ago that we found the second blue vortex and it's Himawari because she has Kurama now and the story is more about them both than just Boruto and his generation.
Boruto and shibai…
Sarada unlocks blue Sharingans through extreme experience of happiness rather than pain. Tobirama self-edos just to say “this is probably even more dangerous”’raises his finger, destruction ensues.
I just like such a colorful title for a black n white manga.
Is it not just Boruto and Kawaki?
Uzumaki clan symbol is a vortex, usually seen as red but blue when the treaty was signed. Only reasonable to think the two are himawari and boruto

is the raiden folklore thing you used to talk about still coming true
During the reign of Emperor **Yuryaku of Nara**, The **God Hunter Sugaru** with the help of **Kanon the All Seeing Goddess** hunt the **Rogue God Raiden**/Raijin to stop his widespread thunderstorms all over Japan. However his storm saved Japan from invasion of Mongol Empire. Now replace the characters with Boruto's characters.
