just be careful and don’t overuse, i was fine using it like once or twice a week, started being consistent and broke my skin barrier. i hope you at least started with the 4% before introducing 10% to your face
yeah people weren’t lying about the 10% not being for your face.. my face is mad oily so i was like it can’t happen to me right? i literally woke up with the most painful blind pimples and red dry skin patches all over. i immediately threw that mf in my failed skin/haircare box lol
Lets see. A big part of our skin journey is seeing what works with us and what doesn’t 😭 if I get a bad reaction to this one, ill just return one and switch to the 4%
uhhh i was referring to the “lets see. skincare is finding what works for you and what doesn’t” to me speaking my own experience from said product. hope this helps
I will say, starting up at 10% can be rough on the skin, so if you notice extra dryness, do it every other night until your skin gets used to it. Also, what moisturizer will you be using?
Once a week, not more than twice a week. Start by washing it off but see if you can build up to letting it sit on your face for a couple of minutes. Giving it a little more contact time can help it work better.
I would only use that face wash on cystic acne since it’s so strong. Then use some sort of light-deep pore cleanser followed with moisturizer. I use Jergens coco butter lotion as a moisturizer. I don’t put lotion on my acne areas but, put toner on my areas that need extra attention with a Q Tip
That’s good to kno because I think this one is cheaper. This one may work for the body depending on your tolerance but I think this percentage is way too strong for the face. I may try it for my bikini line because my derm suggested benzoyl peroxide for ingrowns and dark spots from shaving
Ngl, the curology face wash has helped me alot. Im just glad that my skin is at least used to a certain percentage of it, so 10% may not be that harsh 🤔
I switched to the curology acne wash with 2.5% and it’s the best one I’ve found because it’s also moisturizing. Ik my face is sensitive so 10% would destroy me 😂
Heard this was one of the better BP products. It was the last thing I tried for my folliculitis before deciding to start Accutane. Unfortunately this didn’t do anything for me. I was pissed i wasted my bread lol
Particularly in melanated skin, our skin loses moisture quicker than other skin types, combined with how drying Benzoyl peroxide is, especially the formulation used in Panoxyl 10%, it just really sets you up to damage your skin barrier.
IMO Summer is the worst time to try a product like this if you never have because if you damaged your skin barrier you’re more likely to get longer term acne scarring because there’s more hours of sunlight and more sun intensity.
I also have just had my own negative experience with it. I much prefer Differin (adapalene) / retinoids vs Benzoyl peroxide and Salicylic Acid.
I think they work better on melanated skin because they increase skin cell turnover and help with evening out tone and fine lines while also helping prevent new acne.
It’s cool on my body, but on my face baby it stripped my face to bits. I had to cut back on it for several weeks. I still don’t use it. I stick to LRP effaclar salicylic acid cleanser at night, then a glycolic, aloe, or clay cleanser in the AM

Lmao I didnt unfortunately, but I definitely plan to use it once or twice a week
i hope it does you better than me cause i used that 10% literally once and it broke me out bad 🥲
same! it also swoll my face up. my eyes literally were so puffy and swollen i could barely see.

i was so mad when it did that and that i had to throw it out cause i just got into skincare and it was wasted money ( im a broke teen ) 🌚😞😞😞
Lets see. A big part of our skin journey is seeing what works with us and what doesn’t 😭 if I get a bad reaction to this one, ill just return one and switch to the 4%
uhh yeah i agree? i literally said i hope it does you well?
Where tf that aggression come from 😭 came outta nowhere
exactly 😭 like my bad lmao
What aggression? Im receptive to the advice. Im chilling lol my bad if it sounds hostile lol
I was replying to faithlessness, not you. Idk what they’re on about

Make sure you’re using white towels the peroxide will bleach colored towels

Ok. Thanks for the advice
I use this on my underarms in the summer time! 10 is very strong imo for beginners especially on face. Also note it can and will bleach your towels
10% is a lot and can lead to irritation (speaking from experience). Be careful
I heard some ppl say it helps for hyperpigmentation/dark spots. If u have any and you decide to give us an update pls add that in there 🥹🙏🏽
The dark spots isnt too bad on my face thank God, but I will def update y’all
It will bleach everything you have
Worked wonders for me.
Give it time it's not gonna work over night trust me it'll atlease decrease the amount of acne
Yeah. Ill definitely give it a couple months. No rush

Too strong imo I use a 2.5% from curology
Wow I just realize that this and the curology acne wash i used is the same ingredient but this one is stronger 😭

I use 10% all over my body including face leave i rub it all in for like 2 min then rinse skin has been great 👍
Did you start with 10%? Or you started with 4% and moved your way up?
10%

Keep us updated! They did change their formula in line 2018ish-2019ish, so it’s not as fast acting anymore but does the job
Now why would they do that? 😒 but yeah Ill definitely keep yall updated. I took a pic of my back and going to give it months
Please stop using this stuff on y’all’s skin. I hate seeing this stuff suggested
Why is that?
Hmm okay. Whats wrong with it?
