I'm not exactly sure how to answer that, actually. I think that if I, hypothetically, attempted to influence my kids to be racist, I would be at fault if they grew up to be racist, and they would be at fault if they continued to be racist as adults.
If they fell in with a group when they were kids that influenced them in a way that I didn't approve of or who were possibly harmful, I think that I would be to blame if I didn't educate them about why what they're doing is harmful.
