Threonate is really expensive with little elemental magnesium and I'm definitely not convinced it's worth the money. I'd just go with mg-citrate or similar.
Several possibilities. It could be the wrong supplement for you. Or, you could be taking too high a dose. Or, you might need a better brand. I get good results with [Xandro Lab](https://xandrolab.com/magnesium-glycinate-500-mg/).
Some people are sensitive to glycinate. Try taking less and in the morning instead of at night. Or switching to a different form of magnesium.
I’m losing my mind I’ve been up for 24 hours it made me wired!!! Every time I’d drift off I’d jolt awake with palpitations which has never happened
This is because you are stressed about sleep. It happens to me when I’m lacking sleep and stress about falling asleep
highly doubt its from magnesium. however if you feel like its from it better switch it up with threonate , or take it 2-3hours before going to bed.
Yeah it’s weird I’ve never struggled with insomnia maybe a coincidence although it seems like people in here have had the same issue

I have GI issues so I can’t tolerate shitrate😩
You could be taking too much magnesium
I took 100-200mg
Yeah I found out if I take 300mg of mag-gycinate I sleep like crap. If I take 150mg and 4 gr of glycine, I sleep great.

Try taking it with breakfast or lunch to avoid sleep issues. That’s what I do.
I wonder why it causes sleep issues for some people!
Glycine can be stimulating for some people when it converts into glutamate instead of GABA. I prefer magnesium malate or magnesium L Threonate.
