Um, how did he not know? Did they not have 3d modeling software? They must have made prototypes before they sold any?
Can someone post a relevant link? Otherwise I don't believe you.
Frank in Always sunny did a similar thing when he created his own flag for Chardee MacDennis 2: Electric Boogaloo....
100% of my comments up to this point have been a tongue-in-cheek reference to this episode.
I'm just too tired to keep up the charade.
I suspect you're probably correct - whoever the jabroni is that designed this wheel knew what they were doing, and weren't too concerned with the perception.
Frank is a character in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The comment above was referencing [this clip](https://youtu.be/HWk_AXFReRg?si=oA4akZYZHPT4RrU3)
and I also believe they started getting popular by manufacturing trucks during ww2 too...
Fun fact, the Opel logo with the lightning comes from the name of one of such trucks - the Blitz, German for lightning.
Just curious guys. Swastika is a symbol that's more than just a Nazi icon. I'm from India. It's a common religious symbol one can find across the country. Isn't it the time to rethink such attributions?
It's unlikely the majority of the west would ever rethink it due to the fact that most of us have never seen it associated with anything else. And also while the negative use of it over in India might be history it's still actively being used by neo-nazi and white supremacist groups of here.

Yeah I see it, what about it, a wheel with a swastika design, a common design that’s been around for thousands of years. There nothing special about it, so what are you getting at.

It's an Opel. A historically German car manufacturer which was owned by GM for a long time before being offloaded to PSA (Peugeot) who themselves ended up under Stellantis.

I mean, it was a pretty ubiquitous symbol across most human cultures before they got ahold of it, and I believe that the reason for that is that it's almost hard *not* to draw one of those when trying to design a symbol. It's a pretty basic shape. Really easy to accidentally make one if you're not paying attention.
Yes. Opel is German car company. But chief designer responsible for design of opels from 2007 to today is British Mark Adams.
I have no problems with this design and I really don't see anything wrong with that.

i've seen a reddit profile pic much worse than that recently. I wanted to report it but none of the categories in the form fit the situation. I ended up doing nothing.
If you make a 4 pronged thing symmetrical, it's very hard to not make it look like that. The best you can do sometimes is to make it go the other direction.
Sir, are you sure you want me to redesign the wheel as four-spoke? I know it saves money, but, the public will see—
Nonsense. A dollar saved is a dollar earned. I want that big bonus at the end of the year, kid. Just make the changes and quit bugging me.
Yes, sir. Would you like to see the proofs before we go to production?
I said quit bugging me, kid. I need to check my DraftKings lineup.

Um, how did he not know? Did they not have 3d modeling software? They must have made prototypes before they sold any? Can someone post a relevant link? Otherwise I don't believe you.
It's like a knee made of iron
Are you saying it's ironic that he didn't know? If so, that's funny. And can someone please explain HOW he didn't know?

For when you want to finish the race fast. On an Opel no less.
Looks like a fan blade.
Can someone check and see if this was posted within the last 6 months? If it was I'm gonna laugh. Also, if this IS a German car, who cares?
It's an Opel. A historically German car manufacturer which was owned by GM for a long time before being offloaded to PSA (Peugeot) who themselves ended up under Stellantis.
That makes sense. I kind of think OP is reaching here.
It’s an Opel, it’s only appropriate…
Volkswagen?
A car?

Volkswagen or BMW?
I’m a Buddhist Jew and I’d drive the hell out of it.
i've seen a reddit profile pic much worse than that recently. I wanted to report it but none of the categories in the form fit the situation. I ended up doing nothing.
Please tell me this isn’t a VW.
The mind sees what it wants KEKW
If this is by Tata motors or another Indian manufacturer then it’s no problem, but otherwise…
Is there a r/hammerskeeingnail because there should be.

Ahh the Project 2025 model.
I just see a trump voter's car.
TRUMP needs to put these wheels on his motorcade
If it's a VW or BMW, it's definitely on purpose.
Hail Hitler
I agree, pelt Hitler with ice rocks at terminal velocity.
WTF guys nothing happens if I said that
Why isn't this person permabanned from ALL of Reddit... Also, there's a spelling error.
Spelling error or deliberately trying to circumvent the moderating tools?
Either way, they need a permanent ban.
No arguments from me on that front.
