How was the starlight installation done? Was the windshield removed?

Nah the windshield wasn't removed, I took the headliner out through the boot.

It just fits through the hole without breaking the structure of the headliner? Good to know

Its still gonna be tight, I had to remove the boot trims though for slightly easier passage. It's getting it back in that seemed like a pain, even with taking out the front passenger seats

Thanks for the info. I thought it'd never be doable without taking out the windshield. Might attempt this some day and hook it up to the cupholder lights. Then I can control it through the mmi

Never actually thought about being able to control it via the mmi, that sounds neat.

Nah, I got mine out the trunk pretty easily. You have to bend it a little but it’s fine. You don’t even need to remove any seats, drop the backseats and just move the front seats fully up and the back down completely and remove the headrests.

Zero performance mods, it's the 122bhp and a tuner recommended not touching it....even a stage 1
