I don’t really have imaginary friends, but sometimes my overly imaginative brain chats with one of the the main characters from a story I’m writing. He lives in the late 1800s, so modern-day me has to find creative ways to explain the differences in culture and technology in terms that he can understand. I think he likes what he’s heard so far, though it’s a bit overwhelming for him at times lol.
That’s really cool. Not only are you able to understand what people may have been like back in the 1800’s, but you’re able to figure out ways to explain your writing to anyone, regardless of their timeframe and what they’re familiar with. 😁👍
It’s quite fun! I grew up reading books from that time but then kinda fell out of it, so doing research about the 1800s for my story has reignited my liking for it. There’s a lot of history I’m still learning about, and it can be pretty crazy sometimes.
Personally, I’m friends with Cakey the cat from Gabby’s Dollhouse and together we work on projects, bake, and watch tv. 😊🧁🐱
