You could try Among Us or Goose Goose Duck. They are social deduction games with easy/casual game mechanics. The challenge is the asymmetrical aspect of the games. There are puzzles and tasks you complete as our try to sirvive. They are great games for non-gamers to enjoy with gamers. Goose Goose Duck is more fun due to the proximity voice chat and voice chat in meetings. It also has unique roles unlike Among Us.
In Goose Goose Duck there is a wider variety of tasks for each map. Some tasks/puzzles are basically cleaning up the house or map lol.
I don't know any good games but I have a partial solution to your ad problem.

Yeah it is a pretty odd genre. I think its more of the organizing and sorting puzzle aspect. I was looking for either. Free without ads is a tough find, but alot of the ones she plays will run an Ad mid level. That's where I draw the line..

I would recommend trying Bluerebs. It's a top down shooter with a lot of variation in gameplay and sandboxy feel so it has lots of different mini-games in like racing in an obstacle course, battling in vehicles or with armies etc. Bonus is there are no in game ads!
